Montreal -105
The Bruins and Canadians both had their share of opening night chemistry issues. In both cases the flow of their games was maladroit. But in the end they both showed us what we expected before the season started. Two points for the Canadians, hand delivered by arguably the best goaltender in hockey, and an exposed Bruin defense getting pasted 6-2.
Canadians have absolutely owned the Bruins is recent history, (6 straight wins outscoring them 23-7 and 8-2 at the Garden). Rask is 3-13-3 lifetime vs. Montreal. When you consider these numbers all come from when Boston was a Stanley cup contender, newsflash, they aren’t anymore, and I have to believe this low number will be a bargain, (probably scalpable), by the time the game goes off.
