Guys,

Help me with an arguement that a friend and I are having: How are players points calculated. I thought it was 2 pts for a goal and 1 pt for one of the 2 assists. Is that correct. Bobby? Northern Ice? Somebody?? Thanks, gents.

THANK YOU. Was it ever 2 pts for a goal and 1 for an assist? I could swear it was, but then again, I never followed hockey as much as baseball and football.

In hockey a point is a point. whether it's a goal, the first assist or the second assist on the goal. It always has been and hopefully (!) always will be. Hope you didn't bet on that. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
