Chicago/Columbus Over 5.5 -115

Normally I'm not a huge long term trend player but this one has been absolute money for...well...forever.

Looking at this game it screamed over to me from the start. Chicago has no defense allowing 3 or more goals in 15 of their last 20. Rick Nash is all but out of Columbus but one thing he has always done is play far better at home than on the road. Today the press box will be filled with scouts from teams included on his dream list. He has always produced when playing Chicago 23 goals 27 assists in 53 career games. These numbers should come as no surprise because Chicago and Columbus have always filled the net when playing at Nationwide. Since 1/20/03 the over/under record between these two at Columbus is 22-5. In their entire history they have met 9 times at Nationwide on a Saturday. Never have they failed to reach 7 goals. In those 9 games they have averaged 8.2 goals per game.

I have a gaggle of adjusted total parlays and OT props ready to go and as soon as the numbers come out I'll post them.

Vic-
Thanks for the post Vic. Very astute anaysis as usual. It's so gratifying when things go as they are supposed to. Lord knows it doesn't go that way far too many times.
Just last Thusday I had a brutal night, one that shakes one to the depths of one's confidence. I lost plays on two unders because of en goals at 19:59 of the third period. Not one but two. It defies belief. Also had under on the Caps/Jets game that Caps led 2-0 with under 3 minutes to play. When Jets got two to tie, I got a push instead of a win on that o/u. All 3 games ended within a few minutes of each other. I was afraid to leave the house for fear that something would drop out of the sky on my head.
BOL on the rest of your plays. I always look forward to your posts.

I wear my lucky apparel and never, EVER, wash the mojo off of them.

I've had the same underwear on since October.

To show you how I'd rather be lucky than good I was on the other side of that Jet/Cap total. I actually had over 4.5, (adjusted total at 5dimes), and couldn't believe my eyes when my SBR screen showed goal after goal when I had kissed that bet off long earlier. I commiserate with you sir. We've all gone through what you illustrated here. Just know that somewhere, somehow, this bad and unjust fortune will come back to bless you. .....and punish me.

These two looking especially good now with no OT's yet today, we're due
Are the kings looking to break the record for most 1-0 losses. I think we may see a 4.5 total on the Kings eventually this season.

No doubt it'll be the next game at Phoenix... up until now, they've made the juice so high it was just a matter of time.

My bad that I haven't been betting them under 4, at 5dimes, for the last month. They are 5-1-2 under 4 goals since 2/3. Amazing.

They couldn't even get the puck in the offensive zone last night after pulling their goalie, much less getting a shot on net, much less scoring a actual goal. The crowd booing their futile, inept attempts was louder than Fox could call the game. Pathetic. Nash wouldn't make the difference with this team. In defense of them, again, this is not due to lack of effort. Kiprusoff made some tough saves, especially on Richards, and I think it's become more than physical or bad luck for the Kings' shooters. They are gripping the sticks tighter and that last minute and a half showed that.

FYI....59th game of the season, and 24 of them have been 0-0 after one period.

Most amazing stat of the year...In 10 of Quick's 26 losses this year he allowed only one goal in regualtion.
