Hockey 3 on 3 OT

Preseason game between Sharks and Canuck on NHL network is about to go to OT. Might be a good idea for NHL bettors to study up on what we're in for this season.

And just like that game over Canucks win. Say what you will but the 3 on 3 is fun to watch. Only 2 more weeks until hockey!

I think we see them reduced by at least 50%. I'm a fan of the shoot out, but when a high percentage of games are being decided by shoot outs its not good for the game.

I think that now the shoot outs will be rare, they'll actually be more fun to watch, than they were before. Before it was like oh great another one of my bets is going to a shoot out #$%! And this was every night!

5. Clubs who pull their goaltender for an extra attacker during the overtime period (other than on a delayed penalty) will be subject to the potential forfeiture of their one (1) point earned for the tie at the end of regulation in the event the opposing team scores into the empty net.

6. At the end of regulation, the entire ice surface will be shoveled and the goalies will change ends. There will be no further ice surface maintenance during the balance of overtime period. Following the overtime period and before the shootout, the ice surface will be shoveled again, and the goalies will change ends.

Yeah change ends and forgot about the pulling goalie part

This change is going to be great for teams like the Kings, Penguins, Capitals, Blackhawks, and even the Oilers. The skilled teams will win more games.
