really like the habs tonight. i think they will bounce back strong after that poor effort vs. the lightning a couple nights ago. saturday night in montreal is always tough for the road team.

caps goalie tonight is making his first career start. seems like first game goalies, pitchers etc either turn the lights out or get light up.

anyways the juice on montreal is a bit higher than i usually like to play but -135 isnt atrocious considering montreal is a strong team.

carey price - last minute scratch. thats some bad luck with koivu and higgins already out.

down only 1 - 0 but if they keep blowing their PP oppurtunities they have no chance.

Great game so far tonight in Montreal. 3rd period should be a good one. This rookie goaler from Washington looks "Dynamite". So far!

regardless of who wins this is a great game, action back and forth. none of the grabbing, holding, dump and chase garbage that too often clogs up the game. goalies playing very good as well.

cant seem to figure out why the habs are struggling so much on the PP this year. last year they were dynamite and with all the talent they have you think they would at least be top 15.

0 for 6 ( 0 for 7 if you count the 4 min PP as 2 ) will be the reason they dont win this game if thats how it turns out.

it would be a shame if the game ended on halak kicking one into his own net. both goalies have been ridiculous.

habs didnt deserve this one with all the chances they squandered. not gonna win many games hitting 4 posts and going 0 for 9 or 0 for 10 on the PP.

missing higgins and koivu on the PP is tough but still with all the talent they have it befuddles me why they insist on a dump and chase PP strategy when they have a number of good puckhandlers. oh well. just read they are actually 6 for 77 in their last 17 games. thats just brutal
