Pathetic that two NFL preseason games were in it, but I'll take it. I'm sure 400 is chump change to a lot of you guys on here, but as a poor college kid I'm still in complete shock that this hit in my favor. I know this might come across as bragging a bit, but I just need to get this out here so I can look at it over and over again when I click into this thread.

I quit doing parlays the day I realized the math doesn't back it up. Essentially, you end up paying more juice. Here's the math:

Game A -110
Game B -110
Parlay odds 2.6:1

You bet $100 parlay and win $260.

vs

Bet $100 on Game A and win $90.91. Then bet $190.91 ($100 + $90.91) on Game B and win $173.55. Therefore, your total profit is $264.46 ($90.91 + $173.55).

You win more money (or pay less juice), by betting the games seperately. And you win even more money (or pay even less juice) when they offer -105 odds on the games.

If your a poor college kid then:
Pull out $2000 and do something nice--pay off bills/buy a notebook etc--leave the $600 and have fun with it. Leave it all in and eventually it will all be gone
