If he runs to the outside and not turn it back in its a touchdown..or if he just gos down they can run the ball a couple times and get TD or field goal.

if he just drops down and then pitt misses the field goal you guys would be saying how stupid he is for not just scoring a td:laugh:

He didn't protect it well enough. But that was a really nice punch out by the defender too. I'm surprised that doesn't happen more often. He just punched down directly on the ball. Not surprising it would come out.

It's easy to be a Tuesday Morning QB from our living rooms but it was a good strip. Hines wasn't holding the ball carelessly like Moss or T.O. does. He got stripped from behind by a great defense. The clock wasn't a factor so it is in his head to hit pay dirt or gain as many yards as you can. Sure if it was an Indy receiver they would duck any kind of contact and hit the ground regardless of the situation. But field goals at Heinz Field isn't exactly an automatic thing.

But it's football season (took Friday off from work) @):)and will still be able to get a couple hours of sleep before I have to drive to Regensburg for the baseball world cup (Venezuela vs China and USA vs Germany)
