What is going on here? If I didn't know any better, I'd think race and sex play a central role in large percentage of Democrats' minds.

Has there ever been a time when so many supporters of the number 2 candidate in a presidential primary switched parties because their candidate didn't get the nomination? I don't think it's ever been close to these numbers, but I could be wrong.

A Wall Street Journal/NBC poll published on Wednesday found that only 52 percent of people who voted for Clinton in the marathon Democratic primary duel had so far decided to vote for Obama in November.

Twenty-one percent said they would vote for McCain, while 27 percent had not yet decided. One in three of the group said they found Obama "arrogant and cocky."

I would compare it to Canadians and the Stanley cup.

We'll vicously rip the other Canadian cities until there is only one Canadian city left in the playoffs. Then begrudgingly we'll throw our support and cheer for the last Canadian Team. Sure there are some remaining stragglers who won't support the team because of historical rivals. But most people suck it up and say we'd rather see a Canadian Team win it instead of an American team.

Thats what's gonna happen with the democrats, people will bitch that Hillary didn't win the nomination but will vote for Obama in November.

That's what one would think for sure, but the above polls show otherwise. Only reasonable explanation I can think of is that they're just now figuring out that Hillary's really not going to be the nominee. We shall see how it pans out. Will be interesting for sure.

It's going to take a week or so after the convention for it to really sink in.

People still hope for Miracles...It's hard when what you've fought so hard for doesn't come to fruition.

But they'll realize soon enough, when the Bar is out of Heineken you order a Stella, you don't order Coors Light.
