I still recall when I went balls out on Dallas in Super Bowl XXX, 6000 wager on the moneyline, if not for Larry Brown I would have lost it too, or maybe thank Neil O'Donnell? LOL

I remember it, I had the Steelers plus the points (can't remember for sure exactly how many) on an action points bet. I remember that late interception by the Cowboys cost me a chance for a big score, when Emmit Smith scored late to put the game on 10 I pretty much ended up winning small money. The game was a lot closer than the final score would indicate. With 4 minutes and change to go Neil O'Donnell, down by 3, had a chance to win the game only to have Cowboy's DB Larry Brown pick off his 2nd pass of the game, and return it deep into Steeler territory where Smith scored to put the final score on 27-17. So close yet so far.

As it odd as it may sound, my largest wager was on a halftime bet. It was the Jets-Dolphins Monday night game about three years ago. I remember I placed the wager purely in order to chase my losses as it appeared that my jets -3 full game wager was done as the dolphins had a commanding lead. Anyways, the jets staged an amazing comeback and won by 3 in O.T. so I won the halftime bet and pushed on the game. That was exciting.
largest bet i ever did was $4800 on pierre fulke to qualify for the european ryder cup team at 4/7 - he had already qualified by my calculation. Obviously i collected.
