jennings went overseas last year, this isnt anything new.
I think I read where he wasn't real happy. He didnt get consistent playing time. Apparently, the club wasn't good about paying them on time. I don't think it turned out to be all he thought it was going to be...

Whether it was a good choice will ultimately depend on how successful he is in basketball.

Today a High School Diploma and GED are equivilant. The kid might as well take his chance now at going pro, if he fails he can always get his GED. Not to mention there really arent that many jobs avaliable out there with the Economy the way it is, so if he's got an opening I suggest to take it!

i have to agree, i know lots of people who have college degrees and are struggling to find a job, yea the economy is bad but again i know lots more people with college degrees and jobs that arent paying more than $13/ hr

i think if i had the talent and size i might make that gamble too

First off...

College is a social eduction.

As for whether this is a good move.

He isn't going to gain anything on the court by playing his senior year in high school.

Even an NBA general magager in the article said:
His game will be picked apart [by scouts], but long-term it’s much better for his development as a player

He knows better than we would.

This is more about going against the establishment than anything.

Go for it.

The school he went to (San Diego High) had all their basketball coaches fired for sleeping with the kids and stuff.
There would be no point in that kid transfering because the whole district is garbage.
80% of the students are illegals who were smuggled across the border and sold.
Most of the Principals and Vice Principals swindle all the schools money for new cars and excercise equipment for their homes, etc and the education center employees are all racist, catering to the illegal teacher aides and the "mexican" teachers who don't even have credentials or degrees.

If I was Jeremy I wouldn't even think twice, so don't hate on him.

Tyler's departure would end the turmoil that surrounded him this year at San Diego High. Three top prospects tried to transfer onto the team to join Tyler and soak up some of the attention that surrounded him but were ruled ineligible. Two coaches were fired amid allegations they recruited those players to try to keep Tyler happy.
