I thought Meier was smarter than this but this kid cant throw the football and teams have figured him out going back to the Michigan game last year and than the Clemson fiasco and now this tonight and Indiana had them on the ropes

Barrett can complete passes if the receiver is within 5 or 8 yards of the line of scrimmage and standing still. Other than that, Barrett sucks.

This game shows that if 2 QBs are far apart, but the teams are equal otherwise, huge difference in the production(and scoring).

They bring in Kevin Wilson to spruce this offense up and help Barrett but it looks like they put lipstick on a pig.Meier is suppose to be this guru recruiter but where are the prized QB's at as he is to loyal to these guys`that stick around like Barrett and Braxton Miller.

Meyer is trying to win college football games. He recruits running backs to play quarterback in order to play his system to win college football games. If you are an NFL style quarterback, or a quarterback who has aspirations of playing in the NFL, Ohio state is the last place you should go to play football.

I feel bad for that 6 foot 5 back up quarterback from Athens Ohio who got injured in the preseason. The kid had already redshirted and sat another season and then he got injured on a RUNNING play in practice. That is the kind of kid who should go to a MAC school and start for four years and then be the next Roethlisberger.

Exactly. Burrow is good and may never see the field at OSU. He is about healthy again and let's hope Meyer will stop being so stubborn and do what everyone watching knows must be done.

I heard Urban called Tom Herman and asked him for some of that magic pixie dust after all. He also asked him if he could have Tim Beck back as well. Herman told him to go suck it. Barrett was only good when he had Herman as an OC. Weird.

I was hoping after last year Barrett wouldn't come back. I wouldn't be surprised if Burrows starts before the end of the season, or at least I hope he does. I give Oklahoma their props, they deserved to win that game. If Barrett isn't behind center though, it would have been a hell of a lot closer and probably a different result.
