but how else can you possibly explain that every single one of Valueman's post's are pushing betfair?

And to the point where he is posting maliscious bullshit about Pinnacle.

I think you should either start charging betfair ad fees, else make the guy prove his pinnacle conspiracy bullshit.

I know what you are saying but betfair has changed the lives of a lot of players in Europe and they are now the only book that they use. Similarly to Pinnacle a lot of players have become converts and like to "spread the gospel" There are not many other betting sites that have a handle in excess of $100m a week

Hey SPV - If you had been in the Uk for the last 15 years you would know why as sky masterson is saying it has changed the lives of a lot of players - me being one of them!

I am not employed by anyone so get that straight but i do beleive what they are doing is the best thing thats happened to betting in a long time.

I'm not trying to denegrate Pinnacle who by my estimation are a fine book but my gripe has been with your persistent claims on the horse racing front that Pinnacle offers a superior product which is not true. they offer a good all round product but if you are trully looking for outstanding value you have to be with betfair.

Does betfair offer exactas, trifectas,superfectas, pik3's, daily doubles, or pik6's, place or show bets?

Therefore it is impossible for it to be a superior product.

And your persistent claims that somehow Pinnacle is planning on doing away with the 7% some time in the future is ludicrous.

You want to post the virtues of betfair, by all means, but do not leave out the facts about only win or lose betting, and add your own conspiracy crappola about Pinnacle trying to monopolize the market so they can stick it to their customers later.

At some point I suspect even you will figure out that the takeout is not the end all of betting,

the number of combinations offered in conjunction with the takeout is the end all. At some point you will realize that, but I will not be holding my breath.

I'm not saying you should have one account - by all means do your exactas,trifectas and that sort of stuff with Pinnacle but for your serious bets takeout IS everything and that's why I'm saying those bets should be done at Betfair. Can you argue with that? Is there an argument to backing a horse at 3/1 when you could have backed it at 4/1 - not in my book there isn't. Listen, I'm not being anti you or anti Pinnacle (they have options that don't work on exchanges) but strong exchanges like Betfair have brought betting into a new era - $100 million dollars a WEEK in matched bets says it does - ALL these people aren't stupid you know - they have grasped the concept of value betting back in the UK and know they are getting a good deal. Finally if there was an exchange that was offering lower commissions than Betfair and was equally as strong i'd be advocating them - there isn't! and Betfair is the best out there - straight and simple.
