The poster should be aware now his referances like this will not be tolerated again. The guy may be drunk or high. The guy may be crazy. Let's allow the courtesy of the benefit of doubt until proved wrong.
We will not allow an incident like this to get out of control and haste decisions are not always the best.
Have faith that we can do our job properly. Everyone will never be 100% satisfied, but we will continue to try.

General is walking a fine line....what makes this forum great is the admission of multiple viewpoints (free speech, yada yada) and topics. I think the General was able to edit EDG's comments while allowing him to express his point, which is what this forum is all about.
I certainly understand how offensive this must be to you, but rest assured, readers with even a modicum of common sense will quickly see that EGD's comments are coming from a narrow mindset.
The alternative is to have a forum where the moderators edit, re-write, and omit what is being said until the spontaneity and individuality of each poster is lost, and that won't help anyone.

I hear black men/women use that word everyday to say hello, to describe someone, etc.
tell me what the diff. is.
not condonning what/ who ever said that, it is wrong whether black/white/asain whatever.
but the word is thrown around so much in general conversation that i really don't give it a second thought when i do here it.

sometimes people forget that they are not in their basement with their close friends & dont think before they speak...
