You guys must have deleted my post ripping FOX for their BS. I never watched a game where I saw the network rooting for one team to win. In between every batter I had to watch the CUBS whether they were in the street or in the stands.

FOX jinxed the CUBS last night with their 27 more outs, 15 more outs, 6 more outs, 5 more outs.

I am glad that FOX is getting hammered.

I guess I am not allowed to say FUK FOX. I will tone it down, Sorry Mods.

I was probably way out hand, got caught up in the emotion myself, you probably should have deleted it if you didn't.

Just a little pissed at FOX. I try to be objective when I watch sports, you will almost NEVER hear me bitch about calls, refs, things like that but I thought FOX was ridiculous in this series.

it was vulgar, something like the Cubs can fuk Fox in the ass. I understand your point, the problem was in the tread title. imo.

Wilhelm is correct.....it was a vulgar profanity laced pointless post.

Moving or deleting it was by no means "wrong".

The only other mod here is General right now that I know of, I will ask him and check the mod thread. Sounds like you aren't too upset with it anyway Kenny? As I said I never saw it.

Just curious myself who did it.

BTW I do hate that shit too where a network or commentator has a big interest in one side of the other. I mean a local "homer" cast is one thing but a national event they should be more impartial in my opinion.

The White Sox crew and the "good guys" are up stuff is different than Game 7 of the ALCS.

For the record it was Fishhead who deleted this thread. He posted at 1156PM that he deleted one, does that sound right? There was none even close to this time frame other than that one.

I didn't even know he was around.

Agreed that the announcing and rooting was biased, but also think the majority of America was rooting for the Cubs (not me a diehard Marlin fan) and didn't mind.
I compared it to watching an HBO fight and listening to Lampley and company spew their garbage.
Then you hear everyone complain about how it was fixed, when people aren't WATCHING the fight, they are LISTENING to the commentary.
Only comparison to that was the way the media jumped all over the foul ball guy, an issue, but certainly not the issue (Cubs melting down, Marlins had heart), and the public buying into it.

That's the reason why lame-brained politicians get elected year after year: people WATCH and LISTEN , but rarely do they THINK and ANALYZE.

I totally agree that I was out of hand and got caught up in the emotion. Sorry Guys.

I did repost it a lot more toned down.

This is still the best forum.
