Oh really? This was what the Niners did today
“Today, I am committing that the 49ers Foundation will contribute $1 Million to the cause of improving racial and economic inequality and fostering communication and collaboration between law enforcement and the communities they serve here in the Bay Area.
The 49ers aren't the population. That donation is tax deductible and a ploy to offset having that piece of dung on their team

Oh sure sure. A ploy. Which essentially signals they AGREE with what he is saying. Your analysis makes a ton of sense

They don't agree with what he is saying? Did you not see how many unnamed 49ers executives ripped him? This is damage control. How do you donate money to the oppression of minorities? It's bs, money is donated to blacks every time we pay taxes. Cops are volunteering their time to show Kaepernick and black kids the training behind what they do. That money is buying some Air Jordans wake up

Buying Air Jordans......there tends to be some limited, intelligent and constructive discussions here on topics of race, socioeconomic status, etc., but unfortunately the majority on either side of any discussion ends being misinformed, illogical nonsense. I suppose one can't expect much from an anonymous forum where some portion of the posting population likely finds a voice, where in a real life setting they have none.

The donations went to the Silicon Valley Foundation and San Fransisco Community Foundation two organizations who are far from handing out Jordans and aren't even focused of the black community. They aren't handing out anything and those who typically receive assistance have earned it through hard work and dedication, regardless of race, color or creed. Isn't that what so many have been crying about in here, to better yourself, strive for something, work at it and try to escape the difficult environment you may be in. I agree much of the assistance pandered is unnecessary, undeserved and expected by sanctions of our population, regardless of color. This isn't one of those situations.

Who's to let the truth get into the way of predetermined agenda though?

The point I was making is if the money was given to the impoverished black community, Air Jordans is where it would be going, I wasn't saying the 49ers were buying blacks Air Jordans, come on.

My other point was to ask, "How do you donate money to help 'oppressed' people and their relationship with cops?" I didn't know the money was going to the two places you mentioned, but it supports my post that it doesn't show the 49ers agree with Kaepernick's stated reasons for what he has done (as you stated those organizations are not focused on the black community) and it is PR damage control.

True.

The Number of People who not only agreed with those but hit the ground kissing your shoe for saying what they wanted to say but were too skeered to say...

...this is happening. You're a Politician now.

Go ahead and keep making excuses but you should probably also go Suit Shopping this Weekend.

Unless you wanna go with a casual-professional look.

You wanna Topple the ENTIRE APPLE CART......I'm Down with that. I guess.

Nice Suit though.....+EV on a few levels you know.
