Hey Iowa fans-- a bowl question>>

Looks like the sharps are betting LSU in the bowl game. I don't know but plus significant points with Iowa has got to be the deal.

I have watched LSU alot and though the quarterback is better and improving seems like this team gets bailed out by defensive scores a lot. Iowa is pretty good at eliminating mistakes and they should stay in this game the whole way, I would think.

Opinions??

No real rooting interest here, but Iowa loses to more talented teams. Iowa is not so invincible on the road. I feel LSU will stuff the run and make Iowa one-dimentional. Without seeing any lines, I would lean under the total.

Well, was going to take a position on LSU if they came -3.5 or less..............game at -7 and no way about to lay that number.

If game should happen to bounce to -9, I will then look to take the HAWKEYES plus the points.

At the current line, the game is a PASS for me.

Making Iowa one-dimensional is nothing new this year. Need I remind you that Iowa finished dead last in the NCAA in rushing yards per game. Yet they always managed to find a way to get points on the board. Iowa essentially has a running game through the air, with lots of short, high percentage passes. Dont forget that Marques Simmons may be healthy for this game. While he is nothing special, he is a huge step up from what the Hawkeyes had been throwing out at RB for the last 6 weeks of the season.
