Absolutely Raped A Lot Of Nice ShellCrackers From April-July.
Most Going 1.5-2.5Lbs. Also, Some Nice Blue & Channel Cats!
Just Fishing On The Bottom, With Nightcrawlers.
Around Any Buoy, Off Of Points.
Then Lake Murray Got Busy Ass Shit With School Out & All The Kids!
Tubing And JetSkis, Etc. Made The Fishing Difficult.
Then They Dropped Lake Murray About 8 Feet Back In October,
Due To Full Pool & Possible Floods, From Hurricane Matthew.
I Haven't Been Lately, But I've Heard & Seen Some Nice
Fish Being Caught....ShellCrackers Still Biting, Lots Of LM Bass, Stripers,
and Ofcourse Perch. Actually Some Very Nice Perch Though.
What Ya Doing Up There???

I've slayed (catch and release though) some really nice LM Bass in SC the past few weeks with white and yellow spinnerbaits. Gonna give it another go tomorrow afternoon for a bit most likely, Blacks Bridge area of Lake Murray...

Matty......When you reach my age, it's "catch & release" with the pretty ladies.....never with the fish. Good luck with your bowl plays.

"What Ya Doing Up There?" Well, one thing I HAVE NOT been doing is going to Panther's games, lol. I've convinced my crew to do some deep sea fishing off the west coast of Mexico right after XMas. Back in the day, we'd drive down there and bass fish, sure you've heard and seen pictures of the fish in lakes such as Guerrero. Quit driving down there some time ago for obvious reasons, but I'd never experienced such an abundance of catches, a doctor from Oklahoma City took me down with his crew the first time and you were catching the next fish as ya reeled one in, lol. You headed to Scottsdale, or rather Glendale for the Fiesta Bowl? Great time of the year to hit that area, I've golfed most of the courses out there so I'd suggest taking your sticks, if you play, my favorite out there is Troon North.

Back in Jan '76 my dad and 4 of his buddies got caught on lake G when storm hit. Found an island with some locals but didn't stay long enough. Headed to boat landing but one of the boats stalled. Other guys went to help and big wave sank both boats!! Luckily after being in water 4 hours they made it to shore....anyway my dad doesn't like rough water needless to say!!
I bundle up and catch decent crappie off the Arkansas river Dec-Mar time frame!!
BOL to all wagers and fish stories!!
