That's right. I'm moving back to Las Vegas and I will be betting at the best casinos for NHL.......

You will save me a little time if you can clue me in on the fair books. I know some have 30, 40 cent lines and don't like the "Ice Men" in their books....

Thanks Bobby, or anyone else for that matter...

don't go to the Alladdin, they use only money lines for sides, things like Detroit -340, Dallas -360.

the Mandalay Bay has puck lines though

The Mirage, MGM, Paris, Treasure Island, and Stardust all have puck lines.

You will not have a problem finding a great casino In Las Vegas (lol

I'll be living about 9 miles west of the strip and just south of summerlin......

I lived in the naked city for about two years and too many dead bodies were showing up and a little too many confrontations on the street with weird people so I paid more for rent and moved.....

It will be nice to get back to the C I T Y......

Good Luck on your move I just got back from Lost
Wages for the Super Bowl!!

Take a look at all of the OFF STRIP Casinos

ie Gold Coast Palms Orleans all of the (Stations) the locals all prefer them for good
books and fantastic cheap chow!!

I hope to spend the winters there when I retire
great place to live if you can control your
$$$$$ for gambling I lived in cal for 11 years
have been to Vegas about 90 to 100 times.

Enjoy yourself and take advantage of all the
freebies (longe entertainments)etc

Gl from the dr in little rhody!!

as bobby will tell you - if you move to vegas and want to bet in the best casinos - you moved to the WRONG place. vegas SUCKS for betting pucks. the BEST place to bet pucks is offshore - and that isn't even close.

the vegas lines are rotten and not all places offer the choice of money line or puck line.

as you will soon find out:

Vegas + betting NHL = SUCKS!

In other words, keep a balance at Pinnacle....

I know, I worked in a book with 30 cent lines and hated anyone who knew anything about it and restricted their betting with very low limits......

I'm moving to Vegas to work the other side of the counter. I have to make some money.............

YES - keep the pinnacle account - although realize having an off shore account in the state of NV is 100% ILLEGAL! of course who the heck is going to police it - as long as you keep your trap shut NO ONE will know - and i sense a great many people who live there and gamble DO have offshore accounts for the numbers are better.

i told everyone here the story of how i was in vegas for t-giving holidays. i stayed at the stratosphere (price was cheap). friday i wanted to take the kings +100 over the ducks, but the book ONLY had the kings +.5/-140. i was NOT going to lay a bad number like that so i ran to sahara and got the kings -105. the game tied at 2 meaning my bet +.5 would have won.

that night, sacramento was -10 over the clips. i wanted to take the kings -5 for the 1st 1/2. NOT ONE BOOK had 1st 1/2 lines for the nba. think that would ever be accepted offshore? me, neither.

as BB has pointed out a TON of times, vegas is great for idiots there to play their fave team no matter what the line is - and that is why vegas makes money - from idiots only - not "sharps".

The Inperial Palace has some special features for hockey in game betting you might look at.

It's been illegal to gamble at Las Vegas sports books for some time now. If you want to bet hockey, you will have to have some offshore accounts. This city is a shithole for sports betting. If you want to bet more than 5 dollars, you have to show 2 forms of ID and have a note from your mother.

The Coast properties used to book the Grand Salami but they took it down after the first week of the season because they were too lazy to do their homework and adjust the number. The casinos only want you to play those slot and poker machines.

Some bandit joints here actually use 30 and 40 cent lines and the squares in this city actually bet into them.

only place that takes anything is coast properties.

stations have low limits and a know nothing putting up the lines, but they do offer both the pick line and split line.

tuck: unless something major happened last time i looked the IP had huge straddles and low limits making it not even worth while for the drive in.

I am no expert, but a couple of Saturdays when I was in Vegas during football, I got great Hockey money lines at the bellaggio. They were very close to the opening number and had a lot of value vs the established lines offshore by the time I bet around noon. I don't know about limits, but they took $300 each from me on 5 games FWIW.

Personally I would never run around Vegas to bet unless I was looking for a really good price on an event where Vegas number is way off offshore (boxing comes to mind).

Also, halftime lines in football can be unique at times.
