I was genuinely expecting to click on a link about a Firewater factory getting shut down.

No joke.

Although I wish they would open ANWR up, it's been like this for the 7 years I've worked in the industry. We'll be fine for 15-20 years. The bigger problem right now is oil prices. Couple projects being put on hold! But have no fear, AKP will be fine!

Sorry to disappoint you JD. I just wanted to get Aks opinion on how his Lord and Savior always puts his camel jockey buddies at the head of the trough.

I don’t know what caused Obama to have such animus toward the USA but since he only has a little over a year left in office he has to put the peddle down.

You would think after six years he would realize that he can’t bring our great country down no matter how hard he tries.

Among his many faults, his biggest is he suffers from delusions of grandeur.

Bush had 8 years to open ANWR and offshore drilling in the Arctic. Nothing happened... Shell has been investing in offshore in the Arctic since the 80s. It's not as easy as it looks. Lot of politics involved.

Plus this notion that we need to drill to get the economy going is madness. War and Oil... that's all conservatives care about. What a coincidence that most of their cult masters benefit from those two industries.

When Bush left office gas was $1.68 a gallon. And it will get there again once Obama leaves office.

Obama couldn’t stand Americas prosperity so he went about his quest. Enter Steven Chu who said "Somehow, we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe." At that time it was about $10 a liter.

Well they tried and tried but the best they could do is around $4 a gallon.

In his SOTU Obama gushed, America has become the #1 producer of oil. As if he was responsible when it was because of American ingenuity.

So don’t piss in my ear and then tell me it’s raining.

Lol, that has absolutely nothing to do with ANWR. Oil production has increased under Obama. He gets credit for it just as if you would blame him if it decreased.

Can't have it both ways.

Sure can.

Oil production on private land is up.

Oil production on public land is down.

Gas was cheap when Bush left office but it was very high for most of his tenure if memory serves me right. The gas prices have been about the same for both.
