Man, I cannot help but think Nen's career is over. So his replacement is Herges. He just got through blowing Schmidt's 1 hitter and today comes in with 3 run lead b/9. Crack, single by Castilla, whack, Burnitz HR, whack, Wilson HR, back to back, score tied. Crack, single for Holliday. Herges relieved. That is 3er 0 outs plus the baserunner. Batting practice. Find a new guy...Best Wishes Giants fans...OF

With those two teams today(SF and COLO) the winner is which team doesn't need its 'closer'.(Today it was Rockies). Given a chance Chacon would have blown any lead too.

Herges July ERA 9.82, before this debacle. Contibuting factor, Schmidt 1 hit game, he got 1 out, 3 hits, 2 walks, a HR 2 er. At least he got someone out. No such luck today, and I can't blame it all on Coors. This guy is stiff. Everywhere. Best Wishes...OF
