Who was the last MLB player to lead his league in Homeruns and Triples...

Very well known player, he is not a Hall of Famer...

Saw or heard many of those homers and triples live. Great year for Jim Ed!

I guess he found the bermuda triangle many times that year...Rice wasn`t exactly a speedster! Why isn`t he in the HALL?

Not a bad guess MC...Dawson had the speed and power and played in the right park...

Two others did it way back in the 50s...

Mays and Mantle

Jman- Jimmy could run fairly well, expecialy early in his career. Faster than most people would think of him as. The triples came alot because Jimmy would use all parts of the field and many came when he would drill a ball to the nooks and crannies of right-center, 420+ feet from homeplate. Jimmy was a professional hitter.
