KEN ANGULAND 10* S.E.C GUARANTEED $35.00
Prediction: Georgia
Reason: 10* GAME - Expect a top caliber performance, especially on offense, from the Bulldogs. The offense has been impressive with 242 yards per game average in the air and 143 yards per game on the ground. Georgia is 3-0 SU/ATS in the last three games. The Bulldogs were defeated by the Tigers earlier in the season. Some sweet revenge will be in place for the Bulldogs. They are 4-2 ATS as an underdog since 2002. Expect the emotionally drained Tigers to breakdown on defense as the game progresses

Bryan Leanards PAC 10 GOY $35.00
Bryan Leonard is now 24-8 75% on his Game Of The Year Selections.
Both teams enter here off a bye, but the edge should go to the Beavers. While Oregon State knows a win here will bring national publicity, USC comes into this game tight. They have been reading their press clippings for two straight weeks that they are the only team in the country that can compete with Oklahoma. Now they know they must win convincingly to stay ahead of the on rushing LSU Tigers. Oregon State is a solid 7-4 on the season, outscoring the opposition by 70 points. They are only permitting 15.6 points per game defensively. They won at California by 14, the same place where the Trojans suffered their lone defeat. The Beavers have a terrific stop unit, ranking 3rd in the country in defensive pass efficiency. Oregon State has cashed 3 of the last 4 meetings, permitting just 22, 16 and 21 points the last three clashes. USC stands at 10-1 on the season, but really who have they beaten? The best teams they defeated were a very overrated Auburn squad, and a fading Washington State team. The Trojans will likely get the win, but Oregon State has enough talent to keep this much closer than everyone expects.

Larry Ness
Game: Boise St. at Hawaii Dec 6 2003 11:30PM
Prediction: Boise St.
Reason: Last Saturday night Hawaii rallied from a 14-0 deficit against Alabama to win 37-29. QB Timmy Chang entered the game second in total offense to only Texas Tech's BJ Symons but played HORRIBLY, completing just 7-of-23 passes for 38 yards. He was replaced by Jason Whieldon who threw for 237 yards and FOUR TDs in the win. The Rainbows are 8-4 and have already secured their bowl bid as the face the WAC's best team, Boise State. The Broncos clinched their second consecutive WAC Title with a 56-3 rout of Nevada, the team's ninth straight win this year (third to Miami-Ohio's 11 straight wins and Oklahoma's 14 straight) as well as their SEVENTEENTH straight conference win (13-4 ATS)! QB Ryan Dinwiddie has broken the school record for passing yards in a season in 2003 as well as the school's career passing mark and over the last two seasons has 48 TD passes vs just SEVEN interceptions. While Hawaii may be able to match Boise State's passing game, the Rainbows have NO balance to their offense with their leading rusher having just 362 yards and the team averaging just 102.9 ypg! Boise has a solid running game as after consecutive 600-yard seasons the last two years, Dave Mikell has topped the 1000-yard mark this season for the Broncos as the team averages 157 ypg. Boise averages 494.8 ypg (4th in the nation) and 43.6 ppg (second to only Oklahoma) and in similar spots the second half of this year (laying just over a TD on the road at BYU and Fresno St), won 50-12 and 31-17. Hawaii's won all six of its home games up til now but they are OUTCLASSED here. Lay the points!

Kevin O'Neill
Game: Boise St. at Hawaii Dec 6 2003 11:30PM
Prediction: under
Reason: Boise State @ Hawaii under the total

There may be some value in the under in the game out in Oahu. The thinking here is that Dan Hawkins of Boise State and Hawaii coach June Jones are simply too smart to get involved in a shootout. Both have defenses that are capable and neither wants to give the other’s QB a chance to go hog wild (inadvertent Hawaiian luau reference). Time of possession will be valued a bit more than the conventional wisdom suggests heading into this game. Consider using under 72 in the Broncos-Rainbows matchup. Boise has only played in two games that have reached 72 total points this year, Hawaii has played in four. Grit you teeth and play the under.

Tom Scott
Game: Notre Dame at Syracuse Dec 6 2003 1:00PM
Prediction: Notre Dame
Reason: We're not sure how the Linemaker arrived at his number for this game but, off recent efforts, the Irish should be a two-touchdown favorite. Notre Dame went to Palo Alto and literally destroyed Stanford while Syracuse played its worst game of the season at Rutgers. Don't expect Paul Pasqualoni to revive the sagging spirits of the Orange. He's worried about the hangman's noose hovering over his head. Pasqualoni's offense has generated just four touchdowns in its last four games (excluding the Temple game) and that won't get it done here. Orange crushed again.
PREDICTION: NOTRE DAME 27- Syracuse 17!

10* BLOWOUT GAME OF THE YEAR: Navy -23 4:00 EST

JUST WINNING SPORTSLINE
Notre Dame -2.5 & over 45.5

Notre Dame has emerged from their hibernation to play decent football of late. Their last 7 games they have been an above average offensive team gaining 5.2 ypp against teams that give up 5.0 ypp. Syracuse looks like they have given up on the season and their coach and we will side with a determined ND team and the short number. We also like the over, the computer projects 52 points in the game.

Notre Dame 31 Syracuse 21

Oregon St +21

Oregon St is one of the best defensive teams in the nation, giving up 4.1 ypp to teams that average 5.2 ypp. USC has not faced a defense this strong this year. USC is the dominant team in this matchup, but the line is way to high. Oregon St has covered 11 games ina row as a dog of more than 6 points and has not lost a single one of those by more than 8. Look for them to keep this one reasonable today.

USC 34 Oregon St 17

LSU -3

LSU played one of their worst games of the year in first contest and still beat Georgia 17-10. LSU now is one of the most balanced teams in the nation and should score more today against a Georgia team that struggles to score on offense. Matt Mauck is averaging 7.4 ypp passing to teams giving up 6.7 ypp. With Vincent as their main back they are gaining 4.9 ypp rushing to teams that give up 4.0 ypp. LSU also has a giant special teams advantage in this one.

LSU 24 Georgia 17

Kansas St /Oklahoma Under 54.5

This is the toughest test for Oklahoma's offense so far this year. K State has a stifling defense that should hold Oklahoma way below their season averages. The problem is Oklahoma's defense will also hold K State's good offense in check. It will be cold for sure tonight and wind could hamper the passing game of Oklahoma some. The best play in this contest is for sure the under. K State may be worth a look but there is not enough line value in our opinion.

Oklahoma 28 K State 17
