I have found this prop at more than 1 book

Most Gross Pass Yards

D Driver Gross Pass Yards + 25 1/2
R Moss Gross Pass Yards -25 1/2

What is this ? This says that Randy Moss is going to pass for 25 1/2 more yards than Donald Driver.

Is this Right ??

Are they saying Randy Moss will get 26 yards passing ?

I have seen this prop exactly this way at 3 books.

Is this an error or did 2 books copy an error when they copied lines and didnt even realize its an error ?

I know this is supposed to be recieving yards. Sure, Minnesota could throw a trick play where Moss passes the ball but the books wouldnt run a line on that.

I have this at 3 books the exact same way.

Danny I'm guessing it is pass receiving yards, will Moss have 26 yards more receiving than Driver in tonight's game.

Clay,

That has to be what was intended, but not 1 of the 3 book says that. They all say

Gross Passing Yards

Not 1 of them says anything about recieving anything.

Its one thing to copy lines from another book, but you would think the guy doing the copying wouldnt be so clueless that he doesnt know a bad prop when he sees one.

Hey Slim,

Its one thing for them to copy another books lines, but when they are so clueless that they dont recognize an obvious screw up they deserve to be hit.

I accidently bet the wrong side of a play and I was told, "too bad, its your mistake not ours. Eat it, or bet the other side and give us the juice". Why shouldnt I treat books the same way they treat me ?

I even told the guy in a thread that he had a bad play. I am not trying to hide anything. I posted it right here at therx. Now he can either cancel my play in the next hour, in which case I wont say a negative word about it or he can let it stand and grade the play the way it goes. If Moss takes a hand off and then throws it to someone for a 30 yard gain I will take my loss like a man.

betcbs has..receiving yards randy moss -39.5 -120 donald driver +39.5 -120

Dude if you're playing something just to try and get away with it....dont come crying when it loses, and dont come back crying when they grade it a loss. If you're willing to take that risk, theres a word for folks like that, Losers.

Nothing personal again, you're just doing something you'll regret later. Then again I book your action, so what the heck....

SLIM,

I dont know what book you are at.

I wont cry when its a loss, like I said if Moss Passes for 26 yards more than Driver Passes for I will take my loss like a man.

But I think your advice should apply equally to the books

When I win the play ( which means the books lose it ) I dont want to hear them crying, wa wa wa its a bad line wa wa wa.

Michael,

This is not Recieving yards. This is Passing yards. Then again, maybe the line was intended to be passing, because if its supposed to be recieving its still a bad line. ( 39 1/2 vs. 25 1/2).

Hell, maybe its supposed to be passing. Fine with me, if I lose I lose. If Moss passes for 26 more yards than Driver I will take my loss and move on.

Why don't you call the book and ask them if the prop is correct?? It is obviously supposed to be receiving yds.

I'd just call them up, get confirmation that it is indeed recieving yards, and then scalp with betcbs.

That would be a perfectly legal and possibly a middle play.

I sent an email to OLY to let them know about it, but I never got a reply on it. They always have rediculous typos in their props, even listing a team that has nothing to do with the prop in the description of the wager. On that Moss/Driver line, all of these books must be friggen stupid not to see that, THEY WERE UP RIGHT UNTIL KICKOFF!
