I just watched 5 different panelists on TV say Florida St will basically CRUISE against Oregon come Thursday. It couldn't be a more blatant example of Eastcoast bias if I've ever seen. Are all these bozo's from Florida or something??? Those of you from the south and the east, please chime in.

There seems to be a lot of East-Coast media influence in all sports....Where are ESPN's headquarters located ?

I don't think they cruise, but I'm betting they win. That line will be to 7 by kick. FSU has listened to people not want to give them any credit and they are stocked with NFL talent. Take the points and buy yourself a slushy with the easy cover.

I'm a lifelong ducks fan and a big time homer, but I wouldn't bet on this game if you gave me money to do so lol.... I think the line is way to high, the injuries alone to the ducks key players should basically make this -3 oregon....that's just my opinion. I'm extremely aware of the fact that oregon has a history of not being able to win the biggest games of the season, just look at the last 5 years against teams like arizona and stanford in conference or boise state, and of course auburn in the natty where they lost 19-22..... At anything -7 or higher your best bet is to take FSU... I honestly believe Oregon wins this game but I think its very close... I think it's a funky win by 2 or 4 points....... Reason I say that is oregon doesnt normally kick Fg's while fsu has the best kicker in the country( even tho he didn't win the groza award, he's the best) when one team kicks FG and another goes for tds you end up with funky scores... And the ducks go for two point conversions a lot.... Enough rambling, I think oregon wins 38-34

I am a Oregon alumni, lifelong fan and the ultimate homer and completely agree with Addicted2quack. The number is way to high and the value is with FSU with the points. This will be my third Rose Bowl I have seen in person and hopefully the best one of them all.

I think most people that watch the sport hopes that Oregon will win. Don't know what broadcast said FSU will cruise, but I think it will be a good game. Oregon has become the team that is known as smoke and mirrors in SEC land. They will remain there until they prove they can win a big one. They struggle with physical teams, & FSU will be the best team they faced all year, hands down. I also am pretty sure FSU has a better collection of players on the field, just young.

The great thing about this game will be the hidden competition of QBs. They want to bury each other. It also will have a big impact on draft position.

Nothing would please me more than seeing the Ducks roll the Criminoles.

We Duck fans are hoping there's still time for Jameis to rape somebody between now and the game.

It sounds like Oregon fans are trying to build their excuses in here. I think that Oregon wins this game. Period. No excuses if they lose. They are suppose to be the best team in a conference much better than the ACC. If I am wrong, so be it, but Oregon has the best team in the nation talent wise. It is up to Helfrich and the rest of the coaching staff to get this team ready to play. Florida State has not played a team with this kind of talent this season.

Nobody is making excuses BD...just being realistic...Fla St has just as much or more talent then we have... defensively we have less talent..especially with best db out....I don't think the conference tie in for this game is going to matter... I have FSU+ 9 1/2 & a few teasers at +16

Oregon had more talent the previous 3 seasons, they definitely don't have the most talent this year. Marcus Mariotta makes up for a lot of that loss of talent. And now that they lose their best defensive player, they don't even have more talent than FSU.

This is Oregon's last chance to win a championship in the forseeable future. Next season they lose Mariota and go to a revenge mionded Michigan State, as well as Washington, Arizona State and Stanford. The Pac 12 South will be the dominant division in the conference. Arizona State returns a lot of starters on defense. UCLA loses QB Hundley but returns 8 players on each side of the ball. USC will be off probation and loaded. They will have the best QB in the conference going in. Utah and Arizona are no slouches either.

Now Oregon will have a very good team next season, but they will lose at least two games, eliminating themselves from the playoffs. Oregon has never won a NC in Football and they know it. That should be enough to motivate this team. If it is not, then Oregon will never win a NC, no matter how crazy Nike wants to get with their uni's.

Oregon might not win it this year...but we are not going away... despite having the best player in the country this isn't a 1 man program.the program will continue to reload..that's where it is now...Mariota wasn't on the team in 2010 when we almost won it.. we'll keep knocking on the door till it opens

Jameis on Oregon being without Ifo: "Not to sound arrogant ... RSherman_25 could line up against us, and we'd throw at him."
