Help me out - Make this Line

OK, help me settle an argument with a buddy.

Assuming everything else equal (like it is today), what would you make the line for:

WVU @ Louisville
and WVU vs Louisville on a neutral court

I say at Louisville, WVU would be +9.5ish

On neutral court, Lousville -6ish

What do y'all think?

Harry, please drop the ish, its a bad habit to get into, thats why people lose by ish. If this was the tourny, the historical seeding spread would be Louisville -4.2. The power ratings come out at -4.19 which suggests both teams are playing to their best. The Books line would reveal the hidden story in somuch that if they concur then Louisville is the play, if not then its a no bet.

Just noticed their playing each other Today. The spread should be PICK so ask yourself why the Books are giving you +2.5 Louisville, I dont know enough to comment but then I'm not betting the game. :drink:

Ended up taking WVU. My friend was trying to say L'Ville would be 12 pt faves at home, and WVU home advantage wasn't worth that many points.

Your missing the point. The game should be Louisville-4 at a neutral venue, Louisville -8 at home, today's game PICK. The books going +2.5 today is telling you Louisville are not that concerned about the game, normally a punter who has no opinion should be jumping on WVU @ -2 at the best vig.

Personally this time of year it would be a no bet.:drink:
