Help me find a 2nd team for a 7-pt. teaser

OK, we all know about how winky thinks college teasers are stupid, and I have a tendency to agree with him. However, there are some teams I think are good bets on them.

One team that I feel is good in a teaser is Miami. The odds for this week's game (-7.5) are optimal for a teaser. In a 7-pt. teaser Miami would be at -0.5. Miami came back to beat a good Louisville team at home. I feel there is no way they lose or tie to NC State.

Let's hear you choices for teams that cannot lose being given an extra 7 points.

i was about to post the same thing about NC State - they very easily could and i think will beat the Crimicanes. you know my feelings on teasing CFB games but if you wanna tease the Miami/NC State game - tease it UP NOT DOWN

since you want another game to tease - how about USC from 34.5 to 27.5. i know this is a bad number to tease but if you wanna throw away your money - might as well make a truly stupid pick as opposed to just a stupid one.

I don't ever tease but I can tell you the value of 7 points is a lot less on a high spread game or high over/under game then the opposite. If you are going to tease look for games with low spreads and low Over/unders.

Winky, are purposely trying to lead the boy astray. But they are bad bets in general for college foots. because the standard deviation off the # is high.

Listen to these guys. Taking NC ST +14.5 is a much better play. Just my opinion.

13 points are much easier. 4 teams but big deal, if you can't beat the spread with and extra 13 in your favor, you might want to stop betting.


still like michigan, purdue on def is going to have kinds of matchup problems vs the wr's. as long as the qb plays half way decent, take michigan.

and mich secondary is probably the best in the land.


plus MICH made purdue look like a jv last year, does purdue have a hang over after a huge loss at home, the first of the season.

Truely, Michigan is a bad football team. they have been really lucky this year. They can not run the ball, and have a freshman QB. Take that combination on the road and bad things happen (see Notre Dame game) Might be better to stay away from this one.

I'd say Oklahoma State is a good team in a 7pt teaser. I seriosly doubt they would lose by more than 10.5

OSU is a good play. This is a big big game for them to keep pace in the Big 12 south. I don't see this game being more than 6 points either way.

When you guys say that the Hurricane's suck, do you mean in general or a.t.s.? Also, I don't think it's right to call them the Crimicanes anymore; they did thei probation a while ago, and Butch Davis and Larry Coker have restored integrity to the program.

Just staying here for a day so don't get used to me but figured I'd help out here. Miami is by no means a sure thing to win this one. There are better teams out there. Try UTEP +10 if it hits 3 before gametime. Also, South Florida +37 is just as juicy when and if that line moves .5. That'd be my reccomended teaser.

Good advice about teasing the lower-scoring teams. I posted something similar earlier in the year in another thread in this forum. You are correct about teasing teams is "generally" bad in college foots because of the standard deviation off the number is higher here.
