A great place indeed.
Carnevino's steaks are better than Prime and Nine. Can't put my finger on it, but have dinner there and you will know why. Burke is closing his place at Venetian. Carnevino is Batali's spot.
Mina(formerly Aqua) at Bellagio is still going strong for great seafood.
Nobu at Hard Rock is spendy, but still best sushi meal in Vegas.
Raku is off the strip at Spring Mtn/Decatur in a hole in the wall strip mall, but it is some of the best food in city. Reasonably priced. Saw Thomas Keller eating there the other night at 2am. Open til 3am. Try it. You won't be sorry.
Wynn/Encore have a handful of great French places as well as Bartolotta seafood.
Can't forget rm seafood at Mandalay.
Thanks for all of your help/information. It is obvious you know a lot about the finer side of Vegas dining. I am definately going to try Carnevino - it looks fantastic. One more thing though, do you know of any places you would recommend at any of the Harrah's properties? I have about 500$ in RC's and was thinking of unloading them all at Guy Savoy, but if you know somewhere better I am all ears.
