Help! How to find out where email originally send from?

Does anyone know how to find out the email original send from? I received email from this guy for big discount electronic items, but i think he trying to scam. How do i find out where he send his email from. Thanks a bunch!

What email do you have ? ie, yahoo ?

ok, go to your email

On Yahoo Mail you need to click "Full header" from menu "Compact header" while you see message.

i use hotmail, he sends from yahoo

Hotmail : To view the e-mail header information:
  1. In the left pane, click Mail.
  2. In the Folders list, click Inbox.
  3. Right-click the message in the message list, and then click View source
Please note, this does not work on the classic version of Windows Live Hotmail, you should use full version of Hotmail.

Do you know where these IP send from?

even though it is spam, we don't Post anyones Ip's

Log into your Gmail account with your username and password.
Open the mail.
To display the email headers,
Click on the inverted triangle beside Reply. Select Show Orginal.
You may copy the headers and use my IP address detection script to ease the process. Or if you want to manually find the IP address, proceed to 5.
Look for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ].
Received: from [xx.xxx.xx.x] by web31804.mail.mud.yahoo.comIf you find more than one Received: from patterns, select the last one.
Track the IP address of the sender
