HELP!! Computer help needed with microsoft RPC

What in the hell happened to that post earlier about the RPC problem???

My computer is totally ****ed right now. I turn it on and when it boots up, then about 20 seconds later it says that it will close in 1 minute due to the RPC.

How can I fix this since it has already happened to me and where are those great links from teh earlier post??

I am on another computer right now and will be here for 20 more minutes at least

MANUAL REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

Terminating the Malware Program

This procedure terminates the running malware process from memory.

Open Windows Task Manager.
On Windows 95/98/ME systems, press
CTRL+ALT+DELETE
On Windows NT/2000/XP systems, press
CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, and click the Processes tab.
In the list of running programs*, locate the process:
MSBLAST.EXE

Select the malware process, then press either the End Task or the End Process button, depending on the version of Windows on your system.
To check if the malware process has been terminated, close Task Manager, and then open it again.
Close Task Manager.

How does one do all of this before the computer shuts down though? Is everyone elses computer shuting down as quick as mine does after it starts??


Would there be any reason why I dont see that mbals program running?

Can you explain how to stop the sutdown again?? I am not at home right now, but want to know how to do everything when I get there!

Where is the command prompt located? Or how do i get it to show up?
