Give me a serious list of 5 individuals who deserve to be invited to the ceremony and which Individual should ultimately win the award. Base your list off the real heisman credentials and not just stats. This should be interesting....

cant wait to hear some of these responses

McCaffrey (Trees)
Henry (Bama)
Watson (Clem)
Mayfield (OU)
Boykin (TCU) lost the only 2 games he missed cause of injury

No one else even close. McCaffrey would get my vote because he runs it, catches it, throws it, and returns kicks. He impacts the game in more areas than any player in CFB and the records he has broken are not just conference records, but are national CFB records. Dude broke Barry Sanders all purpose yards record. And he's got sweet feet.

I wish I had money on Henry. The Notre Dame game hurt Mccafrey.

Here is my list of 5 individuals who deserve to be invited to the ceremony and recognized. no particular order

derrick Henry
christian mcaffery
deshaun watson
baker mayfield
Matt Johnson

i had had money on treyvon Boykin winning it, and had he not gotten hurt I think he would have had a legitimate shot. This is a very tight race tho in the media's speculation. In my eyes i have no idea what criteria the voters will consider. If they want touchdowns then probably Henry, if it's more about pure numbers then you could make a case for bowling greens Matt Johnson and his absurd year. Who really knows what they are truly going to consider. The media is blowing up Henry and every sportswriter is giving him verbal blowjobs. If dalvin cook would have got the same touches as Henry he likely rushes for 2400 yards and over 20 tds, easily winning this years heisman, but he didn't..... Henry was everything for that offense.... Mcaffery was everything for Stanford.... Literally, punts, kicks, catching passes, rushing, hell even throwing...

here's how I see it going down

4)mayfield finishes a distant fourth even tho he had a hell of a year
3) deshaun Watson finishes a tight 3rd and everybody crys ...
2) mcaffery finishes second behind Henry by a few votes and ultimately should win it because of his production and extreme versatility. Missed out on about 7-10 tds and another 100 yards because they take him out inside the 5 yard line and go to remound wright.
1) Henry wins it because the voters will say he had more tds, even tho mcaffery gets taken out every goal line situation.

I agree with all of this...only thing I could consider maybe is Watson and McCaffrey being swapped.

Oklahoma would not be in the playoffs without Mayfield.
Clemson would not be in the playoffs without Watson.
Alabama would not be in the playoffs without Henry.
