Murray winning the Heisman will do nothing to the physical match ups in the Bama/OU game. Those were baked into the mix thousand of hours ago. To the average bettor or OU fan this will only solidify a narrative that OU is bigger and better then they are, and no way Bama can cover the -14 against a Heisman winner. Even my perception has changed which has nothing to do with the players on he field. Bama will be able to line up and run the ball down OU's throat. OU knows that, but does not have the thousands of hours it would take to put a defense like Georgia's on the field. They only have 3 weeks
Bama's front 7 is heading to the NFL because of pure talent, great coaching and thousands of hours of work towards perfection. Just to get to Murray the DT, DE or LB is going to have to win an individual battle with the man in front of him. If he is quicker, stronger, and is surrounded by quicker and stronger teammates. He has a greater chance of getting to Murray. Those battles will be won or lost thousands of hours ago, but will only show up in a split second during the game.
Bama is in the playoff with a chance for a NC, they will be ready to play, as will OU.
