I've got the Patriots to win their first three games at Lucky's for a moderate sized play. I made this before they traded Richard Seymour. Never would have done it if I knew they were going to do that.

The poor game the other night is enough to scare me into considering hedging. To say that I got lucky Monday night would be the understatement of the century. Anyway, I am not feeling good about the play at all. Any recommendations on the most beneficial way to hedge this? They are at the Jets next week and home versus Atlanta in Week 3.

Whats the payout of your current bet and what was the wager amount?

So far you have won 1 game and there is still 2 more to go. I think the Patriots will kick it in high gear against the Jets. Their offence will be much better now that Brady has one game under his belt for the year. Remember he was rusty for being off for so long.

If you wanna hedge I would wait until the last game. No point hedging now as it dont make sense.

If you want to totally buy out and play it safe then take Jets moneyline for half of what you put down... if they (pats)win that game put the other half on Falcons moneyline and you should be fine considering you will be getting +170 or so for each play .... If you wanted to get greedy take Jets plus the points and hope the Pats win by a FG. @)

bad bet in general, but I say stick it out. I mean, why would you make the bet if you didnt want to gamble??

Not saying because I am a HUGE Jets fan........Because if the Pats play like they did the other Night.
Jets will win this game SU.

I like what Rex has done to this Jets D ! They come from Everywhere and really Looked Top Notch the other day.

You're probably right. It looked alot better to me in late June when I made it!!! My feeling at the time was home versus Buffalo on a Monday night was an easy win. They have revenge against the Jets for their loss that cost the Pats the playoffs LY. Plus, I figured Sanchez would suck. Then, that leaves the Atlanta game which is at Foxboro. The line on that game was +8.5 at the M at the time. I figured I was setting up a juicy middle or could hedge with Atlanta on the ML. Another thought was that it's Atlanta's first road game and they could be 2-0 after 2 home games albeit difficult games also. They'd be ripe for getting beat under that scenario.

For good or bad, that was my logic.

Now the Pats barely win and look pretty much awful. Jets seem better than I expected. And Atlanta is probably a tough game even in Foxboro.
I probably will ride it out for this week and just hope they win. If that happens I will have better options.
