You could hedge right down the middle and guarantee yourself $500. However, if I were you, I would...

Risk whatever the amount it is to win 400 on SDat +1.5. If SD wins you still win about 200.

If SD loses and Cubbies cover runline then you win about 400 ish.

400 x -154 RL SD +1.5

Not very difficult.
You made the initial wager liking the Cubs runline in the first place, so simply cover the amount of the wager which is $200.

If u like the Cubbies alot (i dont), then jus risk 200$ and u'll win bout 130$ or so.. so u jus lose bout 70$ and that's IF U LIKE the Cubbies.

If u dont, then double it to 400$ (like wha Cappie said above) and u'll win bout 60$ NET if this one comes thru..

here's what i'd do. without getting into the math because i have a lot to do - i would cut it at 60\40. 60% to win on cubs RL, hedge the other 40% with SD RL. more thrill if you ask me - so no matter what you stick harder to your original bet (if you like it still), but if it loses you still hit 40% of your hedge.

Always, always, always take a guaranteed profit.
I can't stress that enough.
By all means hedge.
Even if Cubbies do hit, don't kick yourself in the ass, you got money in your pocket.

i put 350 on SD RL.. if SD covers, i win 150, if cubs cover, i win about 500.. i like the cubs in this spot at this price against a weak SD team..

oh definitely billhill i completely agree. ill take the money any day of the week. i planned on doing this before i put it in just hoping for an ATL cover..

just layed another one.. 200, pays 620 i believe, LAA RL and YANKS RL.. if LAA wins or has a lead like ATL current lead, i will hedge.

Stop betting parlays if you are gonna hedge. If you had just bet atl rl then you could have done whatever you wanted or nothing at all on the night game. You are giving away the 5-1 odds you got by parlaying by hedgeing anyways so why bother parlaying?

Good stuff glad you hedged. Now you can enjoy the game knowing that you are a winner either way.
