besides the 32 pt loss to wisconsin....i dont see one effort here that Davidson could come close to

won 6 of its last 7 beating all teams BETTER than Davidson, except Rutgers who Davidson might be able to beat, but Rutgers is better than Lasalle........... who Davidson basically lost to......

IOWA by double digits vs this FRAUD...........im betting whatever was on my w2 last year on this game if I can get it on enough books to play it in time

These 8 guys make up the IOWA rotation 6'9, 7'1, 6'8, 6'6, 6'10....with the exception of Woodbury, every one of these guys played meaningful minutes, IE 20-32 mins last game.......Im sure Davidson coul;d shoot lights out, but they are less athletic, less skilled, and way shorter............Aaron White is 10 times the BASKETBALL player Mo Alli-Cox is, the guy who dominated Davidson lost 90-73 in VCU/Davidson semifinal........


Steve Zak quite possibly the worst Division 1 hoops starter in the country for lasalle had his career high in everything vs Davidson in the game they nearly lost to lasalle by 1.......Zak wouldnt make the jv at Iowa, they literally have freshman I didnt bother to list here who could go play for Lasalle and equal Zaks output, and he CRUSHED Davidson.

Dont get me wrong, Iowa isnt all size, they have guards who will destroy Davidsons lesser athletes, They are Big Ten recruits who defeated quality teams.......But Iowa can play its WORST game here and walk away with the W based on size and rebounding alone

not much to brag about beating (or worse, losing to) Rutgers, Michigan, NW, PennSt, Minnesota, Indiana, Nebraska, Illinois.....

considering the non-conference home losses to NJIT, North Florida, EMU, Incarnate Word (!), GWebb, Texas Southern..the big10 doesnt have a lot to crow about outside of an excellent Wisky team and a good Maryland team. MSU has looked better of late.

Iowa doesnt have any bad losses really. At home to the Gophers is about it. They are a solid club but so is Davidson who has seen many good clubs this year...they just didnt beat any of them outside of VCU who had recently lost their best player at the time.....and Dayton....but winning the A-10 is still impressive.

frankly, i think the line is spot on. more often than not Iowa wins...i just cant figure who is gonna win this time. tough one.

I like Davidson here. they can score. Well coached and great fundamentals as a Team. This game is a toss up really, but I'll roll with Davidson here based on discipline alone...

i like hearing this.......im ok going down with the ship if i love a play, it makes sense to me as long as there are people who DISAGREE for caping reasons........the fact that so many of u can make a c ase for davidson tells me "it isnt too good to be true, and there are mo0re than enough to take "the other side" to justify the line.

that being said I think Iowa wins and wins convincingly, naturally i wont be my house, but this will be my biggest play of the first round....maybe the tournament........unless MSU is a big dog to Nova, or wiscy is a dog to anyone....Ive got Big ten fever!

again, its as much a play against Davidson as it is on Iowa, PSU is miles better than Davidson in my opinion......no disrespect to all the overachieving the sharpshooting unathletic white fellas did this season........but they do not possess the athleticism and sheer size necessary to be competitive when they do not shoot 40% or better on 3 point shots- vs a team that can out-depth, outrebound, and outfoul u in a sloppy game


The lasalle and VCU games were all I needed to see to know where this team is right now......I saw them at their best vs Lasalle when they came all the way back to win. Their coach gave them the wake up call after the game and before VCU- they came out like gangbusters vs VCU and they could not sustain it, the shots didnt fall as they got outrebounded, and abused inside. Its exactly what the worlds worst Division 1 power forward/CENTER did to them

My friend is a lasalle Alum, im from philly, ive played pickup with/against this kid in the summers, and been in weight room many times around this slug........hes the ultimate in stiffs, I watched every second of ther lasalle/davidson game, WE destroyh this kid in the summers as over the hill 30/40 yr old men, hes a chump in the greatest sense of the word......they werent flukes against davidson, he single handedly set lasalle out to their huge lead and then kept them close.......when i tell u he SUCKS at life, im not kidding........he sucks at poker, he sucks at tying his shoes, he sucks at using his iphone, he sucks at monopoly, he is the worst speller, chirades player, and cant get laid to save his life. Besides winning the gentic lottery and being 6'11" he is squadoosh.

Iowa has 3-4 guys who could duplicate this effort

So every average power forward or Center doubles his output, has a career day................Iowa is a big ten team with Trees inside.....if Dayton shoots 20-22 from 3 pt line they would beat anyone and ill tip my cap and say heres my $$$$ Mr Vegas, thanks for letting me take my shot, and keep it movin.....But Aaorn White actually has some talent along with the other Iowa frontcourt players, I dont care what Davidson does on offense, Iowa can miss every shot and play volleyball on the backboards with each other, Ive seen the 2 STIFFS that just dominated davidson when it mattered most so far this year, unless you are gonna make the argument they tanked the conference tournament so they could sucker people like me into making themselves a ML dog in the round of 64......if u think that u need more help than i do.........
