Downturn in last few days, but this is to be expected over long season. Can't win every day, and there will be some losing streaks in there. Hopefully more winning than losing.
Took a stab last night with inferior teams that I thought were playing fairly well and had chances to win. Both played OK, but didn't have enough.
12/14:
EDMONTON -1.5 +200 Over Philadelphia - $100/$200
EDMONTON/PHILADELPHIA OVER 6.5 +105 - $300/$315
Edmonton in better form lately for sure. Rest doesn't line up great, as EDM coming home after losing last night in OT in Winnipeg. PHIL is rested but coming to end of west coast swing, with Vancouver on deck tomorrow. If Edmonton comes in tired, the way Philly beats them is to outscore them. But I think EDM has too much firepower for a bad defensive team to overcome.

Thanks azbob. Colorado can score, but looking at the stats lately, most of their big scoring games come against lesser defenses. NYI D has been pretty good, so took a stab.

ANAHEIM/NY RANGERS OVER 5.5 -130 - $390/$300
Rangers have given up 4 or more 8 of last 10, with the only 2 exceptions against Ottawa. Duck offense can be a bit inconsistent, but their defense can be as well. NYR scored at least 3 in 5 straight.
NY ISLANDERS/ARIZONA UNDER 5.5 +100 - $200/$200
Hard to play under 5.5 in NHL this year, but as mentioned before, NYI D playing well, and Arizona has had scoring issues for most of season.
BUFFALO -120 Over Florida - $120/$100
Seems almost too good to be true. Buffalo seems in much better form lately. FLA did just beat TOR, but lost 4 straight prior.
