The Heat were a complete, total and utter fluke - have the Spurs every done this, how about the Lakers or even Detroit? The Heat just got swept in the first round to a middle of the road playoff team - this equals fluke - they will never win again - EVER! - and I consider eastern conference basketball just above top high school talent.

Uh, the Lakers did it in the 80's. The power was in the East with Philly and Boston dominating the first half, and Boston and Detroit the latter half. The Bulls were emerging too. There was no real good 2nd team to push the Lakers in the West.

I never understood why people who think the NBA is rigged bet on it. Obviously the nba isn't rigged. the people who say its rigged mainly just don't like the league. what about hockey, thats rigged, so is baseball to. come on guys.
