you won't believe this..

this sums up my luck for baseball!!!

got clv +1.5

w.sox had an 8-0 lead,
tribes made a come back, 9-8.
bottom 8th, looking good...

i got stolen before when i had an 8-0 lead before but got came back and lost by like 1...
so i thought this is my chance to "steal" one back..

NO

sox tied it up after 8th.
fine.

extra innings.

clv put some fuc.king pitcher, hit a batter to lead off...
flied out, homer. 2 -run homer that killed my RL by 0.5!!!!!

this one is even tougher to swallow than the one i lost after having an 8-run lead...

why am i almost so "jinxed"?????????????????

That is the worst bet in baseball to lose, when you have the road team +1.5 and the game goes to extras.

You think your home free because only a multiple run homer can beat you.

I've lost 4 bets that way this year, 2 were pretty large bets and both times it was the red sox at home who did me in.

First it was Ortiz hitting a 2 run homer against Toronto in April then it happened again against Seattle about a month ago, 2 run homer in extras.

I hope those ****ers go another 200 years before winning a world series because I am still mad over those 2 beats.

About 6 % of extra inning games, the home team wins by more than 1 run.

there are less than 10% chance of this happening +1.5 extra innings...

but it always happen against me...
for some weird reason.

b-b-b homeruns... happeneed to me twice.
o man!! i can't take this no more..

I feel your pain, I had Cleve +180.

When Boston did it to me against seattle, I went from winning 2300 to losing 2000, a swing of 4.3k.

I had to go for an hour long walk to burn off the anger.

pancho...
what makes this one tougher is...

how often do teams come from 8 runs behind?
i say 1/1000 or 0.1%

my team came back and took the lead, so i was lucky?

NO.

they lost by 2 in extra innings, like you said, only happens 6% of the time.

so a team came back from 8-0 to lead 9-8 losing in extra innings by 2 is like 1 in a million..

and great, it happened against me!!!
only against me...

this one is 10X harder to swallow...

NBA,
I used to have stories like yours time and time again. Not any more. Now, for my own sanity, I wait til the next day and just check the final score.
