I'm glad it didn't go to a vote. It was a shit bill. They need to sit down w/ some of the reasonable Dem's and some of the reasonable Freedom Caucus members (who are nothing but obstructionists, btw) and come up w/ something they can agree on. No one is going to like the whole thing, but there needs to be a (somewhat) happy medium.

I'm personally tired of Paul Ryan and think he's done absolutely nothing in 6+ years. He needs to get off his ass and start being a leader!

Nancy Pelosi, as much of a POS as she is, at least pushed through her parties BS when she was in charge.

6 years of GOP holding the House & Senate and nothing. It's shameful. Hell, at least put out a budget!

agree

uh no...the republicans RAN on gutting "Obamacare"...and they didn't deliver. Voters will not be happy

We're only 60 days in..once Obamacare is finally in the shutter , Demos will have no choice but to help get this done...not in the first 60 days , but soon enough

Not a good enough reason to punish someone with Gorsuch's credentials...
Plenty good enough. Ultimately it'll fail, GOP has the numbers and the Nuclear option, but Merrick Garland had impeccable credentials and the GOP, acting like fucking 5 year olds, to use your words, obstructed him. That shouldn't, and won't, go unpunished.

The idiot Promised repeal and replace Immediately, on day 1. Just one of Hundreds of broken promises and lies, and we're only 60 days in. Maybe now, the GOP will come crawling to the table, since they can only repeal when it's meaningless, to help do what everyone sane needed to be done, fix the broken aspects of Obamacare. Exactly what Obama said should be done, and what Hillary ran on.

No one can do anything on day 1..if not getting it done on day 1 is a broken promise, so be it..but it's not even close to being over...let it burn to the ground..then it will get done. Then you'll look like the idiot again for running your mouth

I dunno what will happen but it isn't like they can't still pass a bill in reconciliation without bi-partisan support. The bill didn't fail because it had no Democrat support, it failed because it sucked and the GOP couldn't unify around it. Maybe the gulfs are too big to bridge, but it'll be a lot easier than reaching across the aisle.

If they want to take the time to tackle the complexity of the American healthcare system, they can certainly still do so.

If they really just giveup after Ryan's halfassed bill went nowhere, that is pretty disgraceful and not why they were given both legislative branches and the Presidency.

They've Repealed Obamacare 57 times, when of course it was meaningless, and just played to the blind sheep back home. But you'd think, with all the repealing, all the bad mouthing of Obamacare for the last few years, they would have had a replacement ready to go, as soon as they took control. The Idiot Drumpf promised he had "a great plan". Where is it? The idiot never had one, of course, as all sane people knew, and when he was forced to try and come up with one, could only say, "This Healthcare thing is hard, folks" The idiot is an unprepared clown. And the party he's fronting isn't much better.

It was a dog shit bill. Only a little better than the bigger pile of dog shit AKA Obamacare.

I would just let it crash and burn. Let the Dims own that.

Move on to tax reform, SCOTUS picks, building the wall, and infrastructure.

Donnie surely just a few weeks away from MAGA

So the Republicans voted to repeal ACA 57 when their vote was meaningless, but when they had the chance to actually vote to repeal it, while controlling all 3 branches, with an idiot POTUS who made repeal and replace his day 1 initiative, who "makes the best deals" they couldn't do it. No surprise at all. Get used to it America:

My favorite part of the supportive Donnie memes is their use of a 10 year old photo image rather than the current 70 year old obesity king

@Guesser (didn't think there would be 3 replies in the 30 seconds I took to type that)

Yeah, I'm not disagreeing with that. Obviously they were paper tigers but they can still get it right (depending on what you think right is) with a more free market oriented reform. It would take a ton of honesty with the American people though and it just probably won't happen.

Politicians lie. Obama did the samething with Obamacare. If you told people how hard this stuff was rather than quick fixes, you wouldn't win. And with how big and powerful our fed gov't is, it tends to attract extreme narcissists and sociopaths of the highest levels.

Not a Trump supporter but in his defense, 2 months to put together a new health care model that satisfies the majority is an impossible task.

What happened to "I Alone Can Fix It!!"?

Here's the funny thing. Obamacare won't get repealed. They'll never even bring up an alternative. They'll just kick the can down the road the next year until no one cares about it and it's no longer a topic. BANK IT.

Very well put.

Donnie made Zero phone calls to Democrat Congressmen

Insiders reporting this afternoon that in sum total, Donnie has devoted less than 17 hours to this topic since Jan 20.

His average weekly time "on the job" is just under 34 hours per week

Bottom line, He's Barely even pretending to do his job

The Idiot Drumpf promised he had "a great plan". Where is it? .

Donnie will have His Plan on the table in the next few days....a couple weeks at most.

Right after he successfully appeals his twice failed Muslim ban....(See You in Court!!)

Demos didn't participate with the new bill...let them sink with Obamacare ! That will be their undoing in the long run..Demos rammed this bill thru several years ago.. this will be a nightmare for them down the road..Trump will have the last laugh.. we can only hope that this bill gets delayed for a few months to see Pelosi and comrades run for cover..
