You're coming to one of the best towns to eat anywhere IMO...

Halls Chophouse -they're about to expand and open up here and I cannot wait

Fig

Husk

The Mustard Seed -fresh as you can get and cheaply priced

Shrimp and grits? Seafood? Let me know what you'd like to eat and I can recommend anything

will be out there for a few days, wondering whats good

Was there a couple years ago with the wife.

If you like history, the tour of Fort Sumter is worth it, it's the place where the first shots of the civil war were fired.

Get the duck club for lunch at the Tattooed Moose. I promise you will not regret it.

Fat Hen on John's Island for dinner. My favorite restaurant in the US and I travel a ton. Get the duck confit or the giant braised short rib. Au gratins and southern butter beans as sides.

You're welcome in advance.

These are definitely great places as well. Duck fat fries at TMoose. Yum! Honestly, you could eat 3 meals a day for months straight at a different place around Chucktown and not get a bad meal. Capital of food is here IMO.

I live around it and eat often, and honestly no matter where I go, it doesn't top
coming home to the restaurants here...

If you like seafood then Pearlz Oyster Bar is an absolute must for Happy Hour. One of my favorites places ever for a Happy Hour. Think it's 4-7 during the week. Toast is an excellent breakfast spot. The eggs meeting street was fantastic plus bottomless mimosa pitchers.
