This was a BIG win for Chicago.
First playoff game for most of the team, and they pulled it out.
Has to be deflating for Flames who came close, as Bushay pointed out.

i see the hawks winning the 1st round but then inexperience catches up to them......gonna be a tight series.

On the one hand, that was a disappointing result for the Flames, who held the lead with under 10 minutes left. They should have done better.

On the other hand, it was encouraging, as I didn't see anything that separated these two teams. Both goalies were relied upon to make big saves, and the game was really even. IMO this series looks like every game will be a coin toss, with Chicago out to the early advantage.

Gotta see more from Iginla, he can be the difference maker. Phaneuf really looks like he's labouring.
