Yes I know the Kings are playing lights out and it's a tall task, but I think there's a teeny bit of value here.

Hear me out. If you bulldoze parlay the rest of the games in this series (assuming Hawks keep winning, I know, big if), and then add in what the line would be vs NYR or MTL, you would have something like:

-150 (game 5 in Chicago)
EV (game 6 in LA) ?????
-150 (game 7 in Chicago)
-180 (finals series price) ?????

In my estimation. And that comes out to +765

So I guess my question is, are my "projected" lines about right? :think2:

I could see Hawks being more like +120 in game 6. I could also see them being -200 vs the East, depending.

I respectfully disagree sir. -180 at least. IMHO

Hopefully we'll find out.

I agree it wont be -200 but you would see -180. Hell the Kings will be at least -170 against the Rangers.

I think chi has a chance, it is hard to close someone out especially at this stage of the con finals.

going to need Crawford to play MUCH better-- wow, his confidence appears shattered. Thankfully for the Hawks, yesterday, Quick wasn't stellar.

clearly Gaborik was a great pick-up for LA, wow. Much deeper upfront, more options, including separating Carter and Brown. Kudos Lombardi. That line is something.

I agree Kings should be massive favorites in this series at this point. But that's why you get the price you get. I think there is value in it.

Really all it takes now at this point is one win and the Hawks will be favored to win this series and the next.

Thanks guys.

Anyone see an early line hung for game 7 yet? Gotta be -150 or higher.

The higher the better! should be good plus money on a big win for L.A.

If it weren't for this wager and also my general homerism I think LA might be a good bet in game 7.

Hawks tough at home though, 8-1 in these playoffs. Looks like they really found something putting Kane/Toews together again and then putting Saad on that line. So the price would have to be pretty good.

Mad respect for Quenneville for shaking things up, Hawks record late in playoff series speaks mostly to his ability to make adjustments IMO.

Either way I thought before this series it would go 7, what a series.

Also I'm down for an avatar wager if you are.

PS I agree the higher the better, I can already hedge this thing out pretty well if I wanted to and cover my original bet while preserving a shot at 75% or so of the potential score.
