Stay out of Waikiki. Too many tourists and shit is WAY overpriced. Check out Kailua Beach...one of the best beaches I have ever been to. Go up to the north shore and stop and get some garlic shrimp from the food trucks. Waimea Bay is another cool spot. Kaneohe Bay sandbar is another spot to literally sit in the ocean all day and chill. Do yourself a favor and drive all around the island. Magical place. I miss Oahu.

If you like snorkeling, go to Hanauma Bay on the south side of the island when thr park opens. You can see fish swimming around when the water is at knee level. Pancakes at Boots & Kimo if you are near Kailuah Beach on the eastern side of the island. Lots of great places including Pearl Harbor which is a must. As others will tell you try to avoid Waikiki as much as possible.
