word is out that qb woolsey is hurt. therefore 4th string beau reilly will start instead. reilly took his first snaps with thefirst team on tuesday.

5th stringer will be the backup.

Woolsey took all the 1st team snaps in practice yesterday...

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Hawaii goes with Reilly though. The guy is technically 4th string but he's also older. His first year should have been 2011 but he ran into some problems.

If Warriors go with him it's because they think he's a better QB than Woolsey who has struggled quite a bit. Woolsey isn't hurt though, as far as I can tell.

woolsey was never on the SO injury report until early this morning very odd. He had his best game of his career last time out.They are not yanking him because of his performance. He is hurt and from what I hear he will not play.

Woolsey rolled his ankle last game but is practicing in full last few days. Reilly was with starters up until Thursday. Then Woolsey came back and took over 1st team. Bobby Curran reporting Reilly starts. We'll see.

Take this for what it's worth since it's from the SD State side...

Heard that Woolsey wasn't the only starter given a few days off. Sounds like Hawaii gave a few days to numerous starters then brought them back Thursday or Friday which coincides with the timeline that Woolsey started going with the 1st team again.

No clue on reliability.

According to the QB coach who was interviewed by a local TV station, "Woolsey is listed at the #1 and Reilly as the #2 QBs going into this game" Does this mean Woolsey will start? Are the coaches trying to make SD St prepare for both QBs?

Woolsey was less than 50% in pass completions, so got benched. Reilly might be an improvement to the passing game. he'll just have to shake off alot of rust.
