**TOP RATED PLAY ON:

HAWAII -9.5

-Ok Gang, call me a homer that is fine...I guess most times I am..but last year in hoops and football I released my Biggest plays going with the Warriors...GOY WINNER over Alabama (football), GOY WINNER over Utep (hoops), GOM WINNER over Fresno St (football), GOM WINNER over Rice (hoops), and several small winners and losers.....

Anyways...tonight, I like the Warriors because of several reasons...To keep this one short and sweet...I will just list them and then you can chime in with your opinion.

Adv #1: Long trip for the Golden Hurricanes.
Adv #2: Revenge for Hawaii.
Adv #3: Do or Die game for Hawaii...and the players all know it as well.
Adv #4: Hawaii Offense...with QB Chang and his boat load of WRs which several are returning for this one....
-QB Chang hitting 62.1 % of all his attempts so far...and he hasnt thrown an Int in 116 passes..
-Chang averages 332.5 ypg passing
-Hawaii ranks 3rd in the land in this category..
Adv #5: Tulsa QB only hitting 54.8% of his passes.
-Tulsa QB 5 Ints and 5 TDs.
-Tulsa Run Off only averaging 3.6 ypr, and 132.5 yards per game on the ground.
Adv #6: Hawaii Chang only sacked 5 times.

Damn to tired to list the rest...anyways....There are several other reasons why I like Hawaii tonight, which some tie in to the info above....Tonight the Warriors will get to play again in front of their fans and at Aloha Stadium since their first game back about a month ago, so they will be very excited and motivated to be playing tonights game...Hawaii also had an extra week to prepare for Tulsa's Offense which is not anything special, but to have to face the Warriors Offense with not that much practice time due somewhat to the longer trip that they need to take to get here with enough time to rest up is going to work against them tonight.

For those of you buying into to all the hype about Tulsa's #7 ranked Def against the pass...Well let me just inform you that after I had a chance to look at Tulsa's games played this year...I noticed that this ranking is a bs ranking just like I found out that Rutgers #5 ranked Run Def was a crock, after looking at who it was they played for one...and then look at how their opponents played them...Well I found in that one that Rutgers Opps were not good running teams with star RBs...and they threw more times against Rutgers because their Def sucks against the Pass giving up over 300 yards a game...so of course based in this, it clearly explains how Rutgers was able to get such a high ranking for their Run Def...Well, to get to the point, I called for Syracuse's Star backs to pound the hell out of this Rutger Def and they did just that rushing for 377 yards on the ground....unreal and this is from the so called # 5 ranked Run Def in the land...BS....

Tulsa's #7 ranked Defense against the Pass is just as bogus, as when I looked at their past games played....I found that for one they played SMS(whose not a Div 1 school), and then second I found that two of Tulsa's opponents this year runs an offense that is a run, run, run type of Offense that doesnt pass a lot at all....One of them was vs Ok St who vs Tulsa had just 11 pass attempt....and the other was vs Navy, another run only team, and they attempted only 8 passes....So you see how Tulsa's high ranking Pass Def can be based on no real value and does not project the true abilities of their Def....Tulsa will also be at a disadvantage because they havent faced a spread option like Hawaii, so their secondary may be very rusty and may find themselve a half step behind the Warriors WRs which is not a good thing....

Tulsa's Def vs the run is terrible as well...but you know that Hawiaii is the worst running Offense in the land only averaging 17 yards per a game on the ground.....Well, in this game, Hawaii will get back their Big 260+ RB West Keliikipi who was out with a knee inj....so that is one reason for not going to the run like they did with him last season....Also, you must remember that eventhough Hawaii only averages very little running attempts, when they do, Hawaii's leading rusher averages 5 ypc......Something to think about...I think Hawaii knowing that Tulsa sucks in Run Def may use more running plays tonight....

One huge situation which just occurred tonight and which makes this game even more important for the Warriors is the fact that Fresno St was upset by La Tech...this is big because it gives the Warriors a shot back in the WAC Title race and again leaves them with their destiny in their hands...as Fresno will have to go to Boise St, where they still could upset the Broncos, and Hawaii will get a chance to play both of them...The Warriors after hearing of Fresnos lost must be exicited even more tonight..

Anyways, I like the Warriors to pound the **** out of Tulsa tonight...I feel Tulsa is a one year trick pony that was exposed in last years Bowl game against GT....This team is to relant on QB Killian to do everything...and that is never good....Hawaii will have a lot of advantages both situational and fundamental on their side in this one tonight...and I think that they will get it done in a big way....Timmy Chang is looking good so far on the year...hitting over 60% of his passes and throwing no ints...Tulsa's offense is a perfect opponent for the weak Hawaii Defense to matchup with better....No option offense, no star QB with a good balanced attack, an no Great Coach to get in their way tonight....This line dropped to single digits as a lot of people is still buying into this Tulsa squad or they are choosing to fade Hawaii....Well, I am not doing any of that....I am just going to play on the Warriors and then watch them win in a solid fashion....GL and Aloha CC.

Note: this was put together off the top of my head and with some of the notes I gathered earlier....so please forgive me for any typos, and errors, as I was trying to rush and get this out to you....for you to use how you see fit....follow or fade is not my concern...as it is your money...but just thought I share my thoughts on this one with you....thanks.

Here is another Hawaii Cappers WriteUp and opinion on this game..from another forum...that I thought I share with you guys....This year he 2-0 ATS in Hawaii games and has a good feel for our Warriors....Enjoy.and use as you please...

------------------------------------

2-0 (1000 bucks)

Headed for Las Vegas Wednesday, so will get in my call early....

Well, my miserable alma mater can't stop anyone with 8 new players on defense. To make matters worse, if it can be worse (hell we gave up 523 yards to Rice last week!) Hawaii has lost one of our starting linebackers (Ikaika Curnan).

As most of you know, I think Timmy Chang is the most overrated QB in college football. Someone else mentioned this, and I found it noteworthy:

Name Hawaii's 3 biggest wins in the time Timmy Chang has been our QB?

Answer: Top 20 Fresno State led by David Carr, #7 BYU when they were undefeated at 11-0 and Hawaii thumped them 70-45, and Alabama last year.

What do all three of these games have in common? Timmy Chang DID NOT play, our second string QBs won those games!

Well anyway, my point is this: although I think he is over rated, our 2 losses this year are definitely NOT his fault. In fact, I can't believe how accurate he has been this year and how well he is throwing the ball. He has 5 Td's and no interceptions, and probably should be at 75% completion rate with 9 TD's if Hawaii had any receivers, period. The receivers for Hawaii are so small and slow it is not even funny...to make matters worse, one of the starters in particular couldn't CATCH a cold if he wanted to. Timmy, I will give him props, is playing really well this year.

Enough with my weekly spiel, some notes and my pick:

- last year Hawaii as a 9 point favorite got ass whipped at Tulsa. I watched every minute of the game, and except for Tulsa QB Killian (one tough bastid), I couldn't believe Hawaii was losing to such a shitty team.

- Tulsa finished 8-5 and shocked everyone, including me...I pounded the crap out of Georgia Tech in the Bowl game over Tulsa, I think GTECH won by 40 or so. Take a look at Tulsa's wins last year: SW Texas State, Arkansas State, SMU (0-12), UTEP (2-11), San Jose State (3-8), Rice (5-7), La Tech (5-7). They beat 8 of the shittiest teams in college football last year, lol. Tulsa was the WORST 8-5 team of ALL TIME.

- Because of last year's bowl, Tulsa will surprise NO ONE this year. Everyone will gear up for them, they are already 1-3 this year with the win over Southwest Antarctica. They were getting crushed or were crushed in all their losses, they scored late against Oklahoma State to make it look decent, but they were actually never even close to being in it.

- Tulsa returns 17 of their slow and shitty players from last year. Usually I would say this is good, but seriously, these guys aren't good. Returning 17 crappy players still makes them crappy players. When Tulsa loses, they lose bad. In their 3 losses this year, they lost by 21 ppg! In their 5 losses last year they lost by 25.4 ppg! In other words, when Tulsa loses, they make sure they lose bad.

- Hawaii is pumped for this game, they are maybe 4 plays (caught balls) from being 2-0 instead of 0-2.

- After going 5-16 ats so far, this may be a good time as any to get a little line value in Hawaii. The oddsmakers must be finally saying, "Holy crap we really overrated Hawaii." IF Hawaii wins, it will be by more than 14.

- Timmy's exceptional play this year. He will make some throws, and on our home turf, I think our receivers will actually catch them this time.

- Hawaii can't stop the option and never will (see last week). But i think they will really slow down Tulsa this week. Killian has already thrown 5 INT's this year, he will throw a couple against Hawaii's strong point (our secondary).

- And, my favorite reason for all of my WAC selections: REVENGE. Hawaii was humiliated last year and this was an ugly blemish on a 9 win season.

Hawaii to take out all their frustration on Tulsa this week on our home turf.

Hawaii -11 550 to win 500

btw, wish me luck in Vegas.....

THIS ONE IS A WINNER BABY.:aktion033 ....I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE SHARPS/SYNICATES/STEAM GUYS WHO POUNDED TULSA MOVING THE LINE IN OUR FAVOR AND GIVING ME NO CHOICE BUT TO POUND THE **** OUT OF THIS GAME ON HAWAII....

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I EVER MADE A TOP RATED PLAY ON THE SIDE AND A TOP RATED PLAY ON THE HALF-TIME LINE...

WHEN WE HAWAII CAPPERS ALL AGREE THAT THIS IS A SPOT TO HIT HAWAII AND HIT EM HARD....BEST TO LISTEN UP!....BUT DO KNOW THAT WE DO NOT AGREE A LOT AND EACH ONE OF US, ALMOST ALWAYS COMES FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE IN REGARDS TO HAWAII GAMES....THAT IS WHY, WHEN WE DO AGREE..THAT HAWAII IS THE SIDE TO PLAY....WE HAVE BEEN PRETTY DAMN GOOD AND ACCURATE....BELIEVE THAT!..:toast: TFWIW.
