Having a horrible couple of weeks..

Until the last couple of weeks, i've always thought that I had 'an edge' when it came to sports gambling. Then came the touchdown with 10 seconds left, the bottom of the 9th heroics and some fish from fl. I'm offically getting frustrated with this past time and figured I need to give myself an ultimatum. So I put everything in my account on two bets.

3/4 of my account on Dallas (+.5) over Anaheim

1/4 of my account on no one getting exactly three hits in game 2.

(a couple of cents on Yanks (-1.5))

If I lose these, i'll offically hang my sports gambling gloves up and think about realistic ways to make a living.

I saw the new RIO post yesterday. Best way to handle that situation, is keep being the pro that you are, sooner or later you will get respect.

WIL...........took alot of heat from people (like joey..who i respect in this biz very much btw)

but imo............its a good thing to air problems, that way hopefully the book in question can do something about it............rather than keep my mouth shut and go elsewhere.......

Its obvious you guys are 40-ish types with a 5 or 6 figure bank roll. It must be nice to be able to ride the highs and lows..

This is really good advise schenley. good luck on what you decide to do.. you say 5 or 6 figure bankroll...if you count the cents after the 500 its 5

88, work on est. a bankroll and then play a % of your BR. Until you do that you have no chance by putting your entire balance in play.

I actually thought this week in the NFL was the easiest week so far. In my opinion, Saint, Rams, Vikings, San Fran, Buffalo, and Dallas were all easy picks. New England and Seattle surprised me though. Why in the world so many were on Detroit still baffles me.......

Be patient and don't chase. I started off with a relatively small amount of money compared to most people and have built myself a pretty nice stash. I don't gamble for a living but I am damn close this year in money made on gambling as compared to my real job

I am sure things will turn around for you. people in this place give some GREAT advice but no 2 gamblers are the same IMO. What works for 1 person don't necessarily work for another. I do a few things that guys like Fishead would say are real bad but things are fine for me
