ANY SUGGESTIONS would be greatly welcome. With what happened to BetJam / Greek today, I have officially given up on the offhsore world. No more for me. It's not just that I TOTALLY felt comfortable with BetJam, and loved their deposit options and payout speed and reliability. I understand there are other books, and maybe some that are just as reliable and safe.
But let's be honest here....BetJam and TheGreek does not leave the U.S. market because they are losing money. They don't leave on a whim. They are run by some EXTREMELY knowledgeable and EXTREMELY connected individuals. There are reasons behind it, and those very same reasons will cause other books to follow.
I just don't want my money tied into other books, because there's no guarantee that the money will be sent back to me, or deposited in another book, once my book goes down (which it eventually will). What happened today is a red flag slapping me in the face, screaming, "GET OUT"
Began wagering with the locals back in the early 80s, and did so for nearly two decades before they went out of business (for one reason or another) and the offshore industry surfaced. I thought I was in heaven when I first heard two guys from betmaker advertise their site on a local talk show. Thought it would last forever, and that it would only get better. It did for awhile, but now the bottom is beginning to fall out.
So, it's been nearly 15 years since I had a local. Wouldn't even know where to turn to...Not a bar-hopper like I used to be, and while I am well-connected with the sports world (both local and beyond), I really don't closely associate with anyone who gambles the way I do.
Suggestions are more than welcome.
