To put it in perspective....

According to the United Nations World Population Prospects report, approximately 7,452 people die
every day in the United States. In other words, a person dies in the US approximately every 12 seconds.

Never met the man. Have no emotional attachment.

some people are on a pedestal based on bouncing a fuckn ball....

Anybody who had nba aspirations and grew up watching Kobe are going to feel like they know him. That’s the first thing. The real reason why he is missed is because of his life from 2016-2020. That’s really why people feel fucked up plus the suddenness plus the 8 others including his daughter. That’s why. The man was an inspiration from 2016-2020 as much as he was from 96-2016. Just fact of the matter because he had the same exact drive off the court. And he was very willing to teach and share knowledge and encourage the next generation and help as many people as he could. That’s what he was signing up for the rest of his life and that’s why people are fucked up bro. You don’t have to actually know him personally in order to feel emotions. That’s the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard honestly because I’ve had personal friends die in my life and I personally felt way more impacted and inspired therefore more devastated about the loss of Kobe. Just what it is. I have a friend in LA who said to me the other day everywhere you go it is still “rip Kobe”

Bro, be honest and cut the shit. Like all of us here, you had no clue what Kobe Bryant was doing between 2016 to 2020. I don't blame you either but don't pretend like you kept up on what was going on in his life. You're so full of steaming shit.

It’s well documented. I watch a lot of interviews. You must not.

Watch listen and read. I do a lot of those things.

If you’re in favor of wanting the world to be a better place, then you should be saddened about Kobes death. Great voice, great inspiration, great teacher. And the world was cheated out of the next 30 years or so of his life

Guys here are trying to tell you it's hard to be sad for a guy that died that none of us know personally. Since he left the NBA, I haven't seen him and I don't know who he taught. Maybe he did though but none of us knew that and neither did you.

You look up stupid right wing extremist stories. I look up sports stories. I follow athletes. You look up NYpost stories.

Are you saying I didn’t know that he was a mentor to many nba players????? Lmao. He was mentor and a teacher for many people. And an inspiration to millions. You live under a rock. I have seen stories on espn, YouTube, tv, about him offering him time and kindness to people who he’s never met.

And by understanding his selflessness, it’s pretty self explanatory to realize he wanted to help others and share his knowledge and positively impact as many of people as he possibly could.

sick of it for sure

in a nutshell he had so much damn money he used a helicopter as a limo, and very likely pressured his pilot to fly in bad weather when he had no business being in the air. It's sort like NYY ballplayers that have so much money they buy airplanes and crash them because they are poor pilots. Kobe's pilot seems to have had some questionable history as to violating FAA rules

Since his death no doubt.
Or were you watching youtube videos in 2019 to keep up with Kobe's post-retirement activities?
Please

Between podcasts, between YouTube videos, between TV.....short answer....yes I kept up with his life after basketball. Absolutely.

Thing is...when you’re a really good person....you are going to do countless of selfless acts that help others. Espn would have one of his “grant a kid a wish” episodes on repeat for days every month. Sorry you guys watch political news stations all day. You wouldn’t know.

Also watched his short story film that he won an Oscar for and I shed a tear.....while alive.

If you don’t understand and have no clue...why speak? You think because he has so much money he decided to fly in a helicopter as his transportation?

Do you know anything or are you just like the rest of these idiots? Don’t join the klan man. Don’t do it. That’s the dark side
