Met over 300+ a few times at the RX bashes ... a lot of stories, but too much to write down.
probably one of the best was the Dinner at cafe Martorano at the Rio, think there were 14 of us ... and I forgot right now who it was, but wilheim order a Steak for himself, where I ordered a few meals for the table.
Anyway, it was either Dante or quantumleap that saw them bring the Steak to the table, and started to Cut up / Slice the Steak for the table.
wilheim being a little off to begin with ( still was a nice guy ) said Nothing, but got up from the table and walked out.
Nobody knew what was wrong... but everyone started laughing .. and of course I started breaking balls about and wouldn't let it go away.... I believe we called it "Steak Gate"

Never...but I have never made the effort with the RX gatherings in Vegas.
With the opportunity...would like to meet JOH, BAS, all the guys from the college football forum
including Coach, Mack, RT, Conon, Sooner, Al, Bucks and many more. I would like to meet someone
who is banned from RX (BigDaddy) for all the years we have ranted on CFB.
If RX has a gathering in Vegas in the near future....hope I can meet some of these characters.

Yep can't wait haven't been to Vegas in 10 years.
I'll set the record straight. A bunch of us had decided to have our orders "Family Style" where everyone cuts a little bit off of each others order and share. We had done this at Lotus of Siam the year before and everyone loved it.
When the food was delivered to the table, Dante had Wilhelm's steak and passed it to me and told me to start cutting it so we could all share. Wil got up from the table and like you said, didn't say a thing. We all wondered where he went. He came back about 20 minutes (??) later and said he found something at the Gift Shop. I can only guess but he may have not heard us talk about Family Style or maybe didn't know what it was and wanted his steak to himself and when he saw me cutting up his steak he had to excuse himself. That part is only a guess on my part.
Yes many but it was during Shrink's days at eog when he was hosting bashes in Bahamas.
The first was unforgettable for many reasons.
He paid for everyone's rooms, many flights, had a night on the water with open bar & fine food, met Derek Jeter in restaurant & several other celebs & athletes as they were having a golf event that weekend.
Got pics of Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, and many more in the casino.
There were threads at eog with pics from various posters but not sure if they exist anymore because someone who worked there in past deleted a lot of material.
Also met so many great guys/posters, many who we don't see anymore...

I used to play a fantasy golf game at CDM years ago and twice met up with guys from that game for golf outings. First time we met in Vegas for 3 days of golf. A couple years later we met up in Myrtle Beach for 3 days of golf. About 20 guys each time. Went alone to Vegas and took the wife with me to Myrtle Beach. Was pretty cool meeting guys I had been interacting with on the Internet. Had a great time at both outings. We had guys from all over(California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and even a guy from Canada). And not a bad guy in the bunch. Good times.
