A week or two ago i put in 3 bets that were completely different than what I intended them to be. I ended up playing them for 10x the amount I should've and lost all 3 (think i would've went 2-1).
I am still very mad and financially still stinging (bankroll-wise).
But never once does it even cross my mind that the error could've been on the side of the book.
When we look at the internal controls of a computer system vs. human error, I would put all the money in the world that the error lies with the human.
(only exception being if something with the game was changed....ie pitching change, etc...which still boils down to human error...just the book's humans)

LoL ! No shit. I just visited ur home state for a wedding. Stayed at the Colcorde Hotel in Okl City. Pretty nice place. Played golf at some track in "Deer Creek" ? A tornado had just hit it the night before! Ate dinner at Red Prime steak house. Awsome food. Reception was at the History Museum, which was a cool place to have a reception.
Couldn't be more wrong about halftime betting. Getting to watch how the teams match up with each other for an entire half presents awesome opportunity for haltime plays.
With regard to the above post, this past basketball season I blushed to realize that it is mathematically foolish to bet a Game Total compared to betting a 2H Total based on my pregame capping.
To wit
Line is 200
Normal, qualified capping has me ready to play "Under" 200.
First half scores 110 pts.
Second Half Total is 98.5
If I wait until halftime and bet Under 98.5, I am literally giving myself an 8.5 "tease" versus my pregame analysis.
Some "teases" in this vein can be 20+ points.
The "risk" is that the first half will instead hit say, 95 and therefore it would be foolish for me to then play 2H Under 98.5 since now the "tease" is 6.5 points Against me.
So there are often games where I may cap Under pregame, wait until halftime and then just have to Pass.
