the worst part is that if I didn't quit my job to move to Costa Rica I wouldn't have needed to sell it and would have made 50 to 96K for sure depending when I sold it. Oh well shit happens.

i hear ya - - dont feel too bad - - I have a friend that had a winning lottery ticket for like $10 million
and his wife threw it away by accident. Surprisingly - they are still together 25 years after the fact.

When I was young my brother and I would hang out at my grandmother's house. To keep us busy, she would let us rummage through her drawers for money. After a bit, I accumulated several thousand dollars in coins alone. Most of these were old coins. I was young, so I didn't know what I really had. I rolled up almost 2G in half dollars and quarters that contained a good bit of silver and cashed them at the at the bank....doh!

I've never regretted anything I've done and I've done a few stupid things in my life and lost some money in the market and gambling. I don't regret those things because I've learned from doing those things so that I'm no longer that person who did those things.

The only things I regret are the things I didn't do and even some of those things I got a chance to make up for.
